  1. Thanks for your review . We were on Edge in 2019 and enjoyed the cruise a lot . We had an OV cabin which was fine for us. The infinite veranda cabins really we are not fond of . The one thing on Edge that we did not like was lack of views from the interior bars like Martini , ect . Eden was weird for us so we never went but one time . We are going on Reflection in March and look forward to the restaurants and bars with lots of glass looking out to the sea like Sky Lounge which like the Viking Crown Lounges on RCCL we loved . If they made a Solstice class ship with the magic carpet, then game over 🚢
  2. I do think that X with their E class ships go after a younger hip crowd , where their S class ships cater to a more traditional cruise experience . We were on the Edge in 2019 and was hipster all the way . We go on Reflection on March 5th and seems to be traditional , which we much prefer . Like an upscale hotel with entertainment . Me likely !
  3. I hope they do not do away with the drink packages . I cruised on Celebrity Century in 2000 and walked away with $ 1000 bar bill for myself and my wife . Turned us off so we did AI land resorts until 2019 when we went on Edge with the all inclusive package . Then Princess and then RC and getting ready to be on Reflection in March with the all included . They take that way , we are back to 2001 doing land based vacations . Not interested in those large bar tabs .of course that is us.l but I do not want a bill at the end of a cruise period . 🚢
  4. Our New Years Eve dinner at our house . The Lobster Tails were $4.99 each from Harris Teeter 😃 We will be ok with something else . 🚢
  5. From what I understand there is a large backlog on getting Visas processed for new staff .
  6. I can do Absolute as well . The brands have been so screwed up by celebrity that until I am onboard who knows what’s on the classic package . I will let you know .
  7. Me being a person that will at least challenge something until I am told no , I will be on the Reflection On the March 5 cruise and I will most definitely go to the Martini bar and ask for a classic vodka martini (I do not like the flavored ones) and ask them to use Tito’s which is on the classic package and see what they say and report back .
  8. As far as getting a Martini without the upcharge you could walk down the hall to the casino bar and get a nice martini with classic package and then walk back to martini bar and enjoy the show / vibe without an upcharge . It’s a workaround
  9. Celebrity Cruises —Just like Carnival at twice the price !😝
  10. So if the Martini bar is going to be a stickler on not making you a Martini with classic liquor then go down the walkway to another bar ( On Reflection the casino bar is almost accross from the Martini bar ) and get you a nice Tini there and then walk back to the Martini bar and watch the show . Problem solved 🍸
  11. The Classic package includes canned water . Sodas , juices(Not fresh squeezed), premium coffees, teas . it does not include smoothies, energy drinks, vitamin water, fresh juices , and sparkling waters . I hope this helps .
  12. The app is not very updated . The classics package does included canned water, sodas , juices(not fresh squeezed), premium coffee and teas. It does not include smoothies , energy drinks , vitamine water , fresh squeezed juices or specialty waters. Hope this helps .
  13. These menus have some flavor at least . The MDR menu on the March 5 Reflection. Is about as exciting as munching on cardboard . Really Celebrity ???😡
  14. We cruised on Edge back in 2019 and for a OV it was 2800 with all the perks . We just booked on Saturday a March 5th cruise on Reflection , 7 nights in an interior cabin ( we are never in our cabin so no big deal to us as we are out on deck and stay there all day ) with all the perks including the drink package and $275 OBC . total including port and taxes was $1722 per cabin which we thought was a great deal . Maybe they are discounting the S class ships , but we prefer S class as we like more traditional ships .
