Happy New Year! Thank you so much for all the updates. We are traveling on the Getaway on Feb 18th with the same (original) itinerary. My husband's first cruise ever. My first one since 1997 (on the Pacific Princess aka the Love Boat 🙂 ). After living in the islands for many years, we are go with the flow when it comes to plans. We have been contemplating upgrading to the Haven (didn't really know much before we booked). I think your assessments/pictures have convinced us to upgrade. Question - husband loves good Bourbon, do you know what the situation is with that at the Haven bar? He is also an executive chef, so I'm slightly worried about the restaurants. He's not a snob, but likes good quality food. Safe travels!

The Getaway can have a max of 4266 passengers and 1646 crew which comes to a max of 5912 people total on the boat. Note - you can not swap crew space for passenger space, so the max amount of passengers is 4266. the 3963 is based on double occupancy.

Following. We just booked our first NCL cruise too! I've been on cruises before (RCL Princess), but the last one was in 1997 . I'm sure they have changed since then. 😀 It's my husband's first cruise. We are going on Feb 18th, so reservations have been open for a while, so things seem to be limited so far. Hopefully we can get something on embarkation day. We are go with the flow people, so I'm sure we will be fine, but I'm looking forward to some pointers. Have fun!
