  1. People were able to get off the ship as early as 700ish but you had to arrange that. Offical disembarkation was 0800-930 with some recommended times that was passed to you two evenings before. Since we cried our luggage off the ship we left right at 0800. In the letter they wanted everyone out of their suites by 0800 but could have breakfast and stay in the public areas till 0930.
  2. We just disembarked off the Encore this Am in Athens. Leaving room (with luggage) to car service was 10 mins. No customs and it went very smooth. I was very surprised 😲 took George’s taxi it was excellent thank you to all that commented on this service it was one of the best arrival experiences I have had.
  3. Thank you Shark for the great reviews and pictures. Definitely would love to do one of these adventures once I can retire. Aloha
  4. Thank you…. I emailed Seabourn today about this directly.
  5. Thanks! Unfortunately, in true poor American form we don’t get enough holiday time away from work ;( so we’re gonna have to roll the dice and hope for the best in making this flight but I do agree with you It’s earlier than I’d like.
  6. Great information thank you
  7. We will be on Encore 5/12 out of Piraeus returning to same port. Any suggestions to smooth out embarkation and disembarkation at that port. This will be our 3rd SB cruise and looking forward to the week. We have a 1145 am return flight to the states on the 19th. Finally anyone know who the Cruise Director is on Encore if known. thank you kindly in advance!
  8. I like the website vesselfinder.com where i can see where the cruise ships and it also shows reported wave data. Looks like east of Japan has some big swell.
  9. We disembarked in San Juan it took 20 mins from room to curb and this included customs. We did take our own luggage with us which did speed up the process. I would say 1/2 of the passengers did the same. I was pleased with how smooth it went with their “reservation” time window to disembark,
  10. My wife and I were on Ovation in May 22 and it was the first cruise out of dry dock. My guess it was 2 yrs ago.
  11. We boarded in San Juan on Valliant Lady at 345p. Showed up at 3:30 and stood in line for about 15 mins. Then went to the checkin area followed by security. Total time was about 25 mins to get on the ship.. 90 mins to receive luggage at our room. I actually thought this boarding was better than Miami in the sense that it wasn’t as loud etc. so our experience later in the day was pretty good no major surprise or dissatisfaction. we had exactly two pre booked dinners and once onboard was able to secure the remaining five nights with reasonable dinner times. Was a solid start to the cruise
  12. We are on the same cruise and was assigned 3:45 which seems late to us!
  13. Hello…. My wife and I booked the Valiant Lady on 1/27 out of San Juan. We booked this yesterday and of course being this close in many dining venues are sold out or extremely late in the evening. The app mentions there are more dinner times once onboard. What has everyone’s experience been for obtaining better times once on the Ship? thank you in advance
  14. Hello… second time on VV.. we are somewhat not the best sailors on rougher seas. So if you had to be mid ship central sea terrace what room would you want on Dec 10 or 11. Specifically looking at the San Juan to Susan Juan cruise on 1/27/24? Both decks seem pretty wide open what would be your first choice? thank you!
