  1. Confirmed Canaletto is closed Embarkation Day on K'dam @Chinook Wind although others are open. Safe travels- enjoy your cruise!
  2. Maybe it's the new sound buffer?😏
  3. Not date stamped on any of my sailings; most recently including K'dam Dec-Jan 2023-2024, NA Feb 2023, Eurodam April-May 2023, NS Oct-Nov 2023, NS Nov-Dec 2023.
  4. You can't possibly be referring to this in RSRR on K'dam this week.😳
  5. I have need following along since you started your post- it's interesting, informative and entertaining. I am currently on a 16 day cruise on another line experiencing cruising with 2 non-service 🐕 - it's not good. I appreciate you sharing your experiences with us and look forward to the rest of the story.
  6. There are at least 2 more chapters. I waited to see if I could put a bow on the novella, but just when I pull out the spool of shiny satin, ta-da here we go. So, this evening when I'm back in my cabin, I'll give you an update. I'm too busy watching this show right now, lol.
  7. In addition to the coed steamroom (which is located inside the Thermal Spa), there is a separate sauna each for men and women that is available to use at no charge. The women's is the door closest to the Thermal Spa, the men's is just to the right of it. Here's the women's; it has a Bucket Splash and regular shower in it. Pictures taken this week while on K'dam:
  8. My view from the Billboard Onboard couch Do they serve food at Billboard? Like maybe during happy hour?
  9. I like it! I'm sure it will look great whichever door it clings to. I'm a tad envious as I'm not retired, so my sign would have an extra activity listed - work. In this case, shorter is better 😉
  10. I really wish they offered Luggage Direct in San Diego. 😪Brown 1 puts me in the 1st group to the airport.
  11. Ok, here we go. Which to do first - talk about the most recent sighting of the 4 legged passengers or the incredibly adorable animal invasion at the Lido? Or show breakfast? I'll do that first- it's quick cuz I didn't take pictures of anything except the menu (gotta see the daily specials) and Tablemate's food.
  12. Yes, both the cabin door and bathroom doors are magnetic. In these pictures, I used magnetic hooks to demonstrate. Cabin hall side Cabin inside Bathroom outside Bathroom inside
  13. No ruler to measure, but took a couple pictures using the Daily as a "size guide." Note that the safe has about a 1" lip all the way around it so the opening is approx 1" narrower then the inside. See the screensot close-up of the backside of the Daily for reference on the size of the lip. The edge of the page is touching the wall of the safe. The Daily is longways in the safe w/the top edge touching the inside of the safe. You can see how much room is left - just remember the "lip" around the safe. If the computer just fits, you may have to angle it to clear the lip. My laptop fits w/o issue but it's a baby 13"
  14. East of Hawaii Bow Cam view Aft Cam view Prayers and positive thoughts for all.
  15. @chisoxfan this sounds scary, but as @Mary229 will tell you, it works. To search for other options (or pricing changes) once booked, you will click as if you're going to cancel your booking (flight, not cruise) and will get a list of results. Once you see them, don't do anything else, ie do not continue forward in the process, simply close the browser; your original booked flights remain intact.
  16. I have always had to call FE for them to do it; the system has not allowed me to book myself that way. Same for the issue of booking 1 leg of a trip then adding the other leg - took a human, but I have gotten them to honor the lower price of the already booked leg.
  17. Not sure when the show times were moved; that has been discussed at our dinner table a few times. It doesn't work well for late dining (730 on this ship), for sure, and the 6pm show time has an awkward gap between the end of the show and start of dinner.
  18. I was not asked to present the invitation or any verification of Mariner status, so, at least this lunch on this ship, could have brought a guest. For the wine tastings on different ships, I've taken guests w/o issue.
  19. Cabin pictures - I did move a few things around before taking some pictures. Outlets at the desk Under the desk & drawers Top drawer has blow dryer & mirror "Dry bar" and home to my fruit bowl. This is to the left of the bed leading to the safe, fridge & closets. Table closest to the wall - side furthest from the door. Left side of bed. There is space between the bed and the corner "dry bar" unit. Distance between foot of bed and wall. TV does not pull out or swivel. The metal tension strings beneath the TV are great storage. Farthest left closet has 2 shelves Top portion of left closet Bottom section of right closet has 4 shelves Top section of right closet 3 drawers under the fridge Safe above fridge Bathroom is shower only
  20. @POA1 @true45 I was on both the last cruise before drydock and the first after. I did not spend time in the casino pre or post drydock other than walking through and taking very few random photos. Post drydock, we were told smoking was on the side w/the cashier w/the other side of the room being non smoking. It was never smoke-cloud smokey, but definitely smelled it inside the casino. There are no doors. Below is the non-smoking casino annex. Both of these are post drydock - if I locate the other pictures I'll post them.
  21. You are correct. The gift certificates are for payments; the up to $200 is OBC.
