Yes, they have been very good. Apologies for not saying so - they have definitely been the stars of the entertainment during this cruise!!

It was canceled for us last Oct 2022; we thought it was Hurricane Fiona, but maybe not if still being pulled from itineraries. We understand changes happen, but we were disappointed having never been there and wanting to see it.

Poor timing on my hunger this evening. I wasn't hungry at dinner time, so I skipped MDR. Tummy said "feed me" at 830, but Lido was closed. So... Mint chocolate chip gelato w/waffle cone party hat - poolside at the big screen. This is dinner and a show at its finest, lol. Popcorn aplenty...

This was in the Daily, but I totally forgot to mention tonight at Tamarind is a special menu. I could not find the menu on the Navigator or the TV, but found this someone had shared from a previous cruise (maybe it's correct).

Phone has recharged a bit, so I'm able to take pictures again. Y'all know I do like taking pictures 😏 Theater is filling up for the early showing of "Gravity." I have not seen this before - another 1st! Kristen says it's time to start This cutie was waiting for me when I stopped by cabin to grab my phone. There was a chocolate (the old Square one w/HAL logo) and a note re time change. You can read about the time change, but I ate the chocolate. 🫣 Also basket of clean laundry - I'll spare you that picture, lol.

Yes, I read about Queen Margrethe abdicating; I think Captain should recognize it and will be curious to hear what he says. I, too, step onto each ship with no expectations other than thinking this is so exciting, I am going to have a great cruise! I try my best to make that happen, so it feels a bit strange to me to be talking so much about things that are not right. But I am still having a great time and not once have I heard myself say I wished I was anywhere else. 🫡 Safe travels - enjoy your cruise!

I hope they do - I know you'll update us in a couple short months 😉 I would like to see a special brunch menu on each of the special holidays. And they do feel special.

1st PG brunch was mostly good. Ended up w/2 of the red velvet thingy (1 was delivered w/the berries, before the steak; another was delivered w/the steak); hopefully Karma (server) will enjoy the 2nd one, Lord knows I don't have room for it.😏 Berries were fabulous- ate them all - why do I do that? Dessert was good- way too much for 1 person Steak was a bit too red for my liking, but at least it wasn't dry and had good flavor.

Menu bills it as the 1st (yay - they got the memo this is a Cruise of Firsts!!) Annual... inferring it will be offered on future NYD cruises, So, yes, I believe it is being offered for the holiday. It is a different menu than PG lunch.

I'm certain she will; she was beyond frustrated. Couple days ago, her DH scooter was missing after breakfast. 5 hours later it was located and returned to them - another "oh my" moment. I will mention it since I was there and saw/heard firsthand her reaction to the crepes when got them and to the Server's response and inaction. It was strange 🤔

This is truly the Cruise of Firsts: breakfast mate did not enjoy her crepes; Server came by asking the obligatory "how is everything?" Her reply of "horrible, it's awful" got a response of "please enjoy." As we shook our heads, Tablemate said she expected him to ask what was wrong or at least offer to bring her something else, instead the Server kept walking. Sheez... Upside, I have a lovely view from the library
