  1. I just call the regular Guest Services number and select the option for current bookings.
  2. Thanks for the suggestion. I'm going to try this on one of my current bookings.
  3. Welcome to HAL! Can I touch you for luck? I want to win an awesome cruise!!
  4. The boarding pass isn't available, but it wouldn't be regardless of the red passport warning as it's too soon. I always get the luggage tags right away, also regardless of red warnings. That passport warning is due to Guest 2 waiting to receive passport renewal, so who knows when that will clear, lol. The screenshot of the boarding pass is from a different booking - it's for the last trip April 29-May 6, while the other 2 screenshots are from an upcoming Oct cruise. And are there as @POA1 said to show where they're located.
  5. Thanks @Copper10-8 I assumed but thought I'd take a shot as to how/why a non-service animal would be allowed on board.
  6. Good deal - Sounds like you're set. Enjoy your cruise!! ☺🛳🚢
  7. @Native Floridian 26 I can't provide insight on being locked out, but am very interested in the outcome, especially if you learn why you were locked out and when you are able to book, if you can please keep us updated.
  8. @Tennant according to deckplan, it should be bed (queen or 2 twins your choice), sleeper sofa & pulldown. And from recent experience, although cabin service is now only once daily, you can request your steward put the beds away each morning & pull them back out in evening so you have room to move around the cabin & make use of the sofa.
  9. @skidroe I can't say at what time frame I've received offers, but it's been under days from departure. They have come via email; Carnival puts them right on your Cruise Planner so you see them when you log in; HAL does not do that. My experience is when I use TA (never used big box, so no comment on those) the email goes to the TA who is expected to forward to me. When booking directly with HAL, of course, it comes from HAL FWIW, I have never received an offer when I've booked using HAL PCC. May have been offered and the PCC was responsible for sending it to me??
  10. Princess now also utilizes a bidding process. I personally hope HAL does not adopt one.
  11. There are threads on here with people discussing that very topic. If you read them, you may want to remember some are talking about getting reimbursement for expenses, which may/may not apply to you. I have not had it happen, but someone in our group (diff cabin) did on Nieuw Amsterdam in Feb. Their OBC was posted before they left the ship. Someone else I know that it happened to had not received the credit after a month and called in. They had the OBC within days after the call. I hope you get it worked out soon.
  12. Correct @REOVA alcohol in fridge is not free but @CruiserBruce we were not charged for the sodas in the cabin or in the lounge.
  13. Correct - been told that numerous times. And they will not simply refare. However, if you don't have a non-fundable rate, you can cancel and rebook as noted by @MrSnuffleupagus Just be aware you're subject to rate increase, if applicable, in that scenario.
  14. Welcome to HAL! Your options will depend on what rate type you booked. Always worth a call to talk through those options. You're not locking into anything by just calling- you can end the call with a simple "thank you" without making changes if you don't like the options. But you may also find exactly what you want. Your options if you wait until onbiard will be extremely limited to non-existent depending on capacity. I hope you get whatever it is that will make your trip memorable. Safe travels - enjoy your cruise!
  15. If truly sold out, there may not be upgrades available when you call online, but as others have suggested, keep calling so if a cancelation happens (as they do) you can snag one. I've successfully done that. Also as others suggested, once on board (get on as early as possible) go directly to Guest Services. While they may have a sign up that there are no upgrades available, ask to be put on the list anyway - they will have a list. That sign is indicative of the cruise being classified as sold out - it does not account for inevitable No Shows, which creates upgrade opportunities. Just remember they may not be the type you're looking for. I've successfully done that. If offered an upgrade, don't be quick to accept the first price quoted as a simple "is that the best rate?" can result in a counteroffer of a lower price. I've successfully done that, too. Best wishes on getting what you want. Safe travels, enjoy your cruise!
  16. Not if they have Long Covid w/lingering respiratory issues. Ugh... Serious note, there are many many wonderful HAL associates who do an awesome job and will get an answer (with reliably correct info) rather than spewing boilerplate to help us make informed decisions.
  17. @jules815 do plan on breakfast in the Pinnacle Grill - that's a very nice perk of having a Neptune Suite.
  18. 4* who loves HAL, warts and all. Next are Princess then Carnival. I've done about 25 cruises, all on these 3. While I agree HAL has definitely taken a hit in services, dining, and other areas, so have the majority of cruise lines. I welcome changes for the purpose of progress, not just for the sake of change. I think we've seen a bit of both recently with some definte misses. I'm not in a position to sail HAL if it were to truly go premium and would greatly miss cruising with them. So, selfishly, I hope that's not the end result. As a CCL stockholder, I hope for whatever gets the company to better financial health. I think those are not aligned - disappointment and a breakup are likely in my future. 😪🤧 Having been on the AK opening season cruise on Eurodam and watching the ceremony at the gangway, it was kinda a special proud moment. 150 years for HAL and 76 seasons in AK. I hope the rest of the story is not "congratulations, happy birthday, goodbye, so long..."
  19. @jules815 I haven't been in a Neptune post Covid, so I can't comment on number of daily cabin service, but you can absolutely get turndown, ice and other services more than once/day - just let them know what you want. Yes, just let them know what soft drinks and water you want, they'll be sure to have it in your fridge. You'll also have access to those and other drinks such as juice and tea along w/snacks in the Concierge Lounge. They'll also bring fresh fruit to your cabin - just let them know what you want. Welcome to HAL - enjoy your cruise!
  20. @jules815 you can buy a day pass for $50. If you decide you like it and want it for the duration of your cruise, you can typically upgrade and pay the difference. 1 week/7 days is $149, so it would be $99 to upgrade. I LOVE the thermal spa - it's my "must have" every time! Welcome to HAL - enjoy your cruise!
  21. @STI please keep us posted on the outcome of your ability to take your dog on the cruise and what HAL required since you say there's no certification. I hope it works out for you and you have a great cruise!
  22. @Mary229 may I ask, when and where did you see a non-service animal on a HAL ship - was it crew family? I understand HAL (all of CCL) has very tight policy on animals.
  23. To see them, you need to be on HAL site, not on the Navigator App. They're under "online check in." Same place and screen where you get boarding pass you select luggage tags, which is the "Docs" tab. They will be available (clickable/printable) even before your boarding pass is ready. Even before cabin assigned on a guarantee. They'll be available even if some of your check in tabs are incomplete. In these screenshots, you can see my boarding pass is not available yet, but luggage tags are there. BTW, the boarding pass in this area, different than on the Navigator App, is many pages long and includes the itinerary. It has details of your cruise and contract. It's also where you'll see transfers if you purchased them. If you want to print your boarding pass, you really only need the 2nd page that has a small barcode in lower left corner. You should be good since they were emailed to you, but you might check just to see if you find them; that way, you'll know how to find them on your next HAL cruise!
  24. I know loyalty is not reciprocal - never said it was, never mentioned loyalty program as it's not relevant to this discussion.
