  1. She changed that about a month ago thanks to passenger feedback she received - now every other webinar is open to all.
  2. Be prepared to be even more disappointed. Can't speak to current - but last fall they had - 3 or 4 cable news / business news channels. 2 sports channels. 1 special events channel and something called PRIME (not Amazon Prime) - 2 channels PRIME One with semi-recent US/UK programming and PRIME Favorites with older shows and movies. That's it. Plus On-Demand movies, TV shows and a large collection of Carnival/OCEAN produced shows (same ones that are on the Ocean View app) and of course The Wake Show & the bridge cam. Hopefully, someone currently on board will have better news for you....oh yeah I almost forgot The Love Boat is on demand as well.

  5. I've seen them use the port day with the earliest "All Aboard" time as a formal night if your 2nd sea day is the last day.

  7. Neither Princess Cruises app nor Medallion Class app appear to be able to access the database now. Either MORE bad things are happening or maybe GOOD things if they are in the process of updating (aka fixing) the new app and/or eliminating the old one a couple days early. Only time will tell.... What are the rest of you seeing???
  8. As previously mentioned - the delay was acknowledged by a CVP three days ago. Apparently we both missed it.
  9. Thank You for acknowledging my post - which has since been removed. I await notification of reason and explanation of my violation/error. Once again, I thought I simply shared info and I meant now harm. I apologize - and hope to continue to share what I experience personally and/or learn from others in the future if I am allowed to do so.
  10. If you would kindly go back to post #1 in this thread and read the announcement made by our host CJSKIDS's own Princess CVP which clearly and officially states DEC 1st. As for the "one particular blogger" are you all just jealous that she got it right and got it right FIRST. She scooped EVERYONE else. Kudos to her!!!

My understanding from previously questioning the same temporary holds is that at the end of each day they place an additional hold for the difference between your actual onboard folio balance and the total of all prior authorizations/holds - hence creating odd amounts. Just simple math - say your balance is $329 at the end of a day - they only have $300 in previous holds so they request $29 or just enough to keep you current. If they followed the typical format of authorizing additional funds (say $300 additional) and you were using a debit card that would block you from spending that anywhere else - I think that scenario would create more complaints than these odd small holds do, Hopefully, some one will write a script for the clerks that explains it better than they currently do...and hopefully better and shorter than I just did.
  12. I will give you that - this does appear (at least according to the blogger) to be a new app requiring a separate download not just another update - and since both the old and new apps will be functional for the first month - only time will tell.

Let me begin this post by saying - if I am doing/saying anything that is against the rules here - I apologize and would hope you would immediately remove this post and hopefully hold me harmless because I mean no harm - I mean only to share with others. So if you are actually still reading this - the following are screenshots from that one blogger out there discussing the mythical "NEW" Princess Cruises APP that may be or may be not coming our way soon shared. Her shared background info looks legit from other Princess presentations previously presented. My own commentary - I hope it is true. I am glad to see Princess may have spent the time and money to simply "come back new" with a new app instead of more band-aids being applied to the broken one. I think we hope it works - maybe enough to add to my "Dear Santa" list. My thoughts on the blogger are that as she is a travel agent who recently returned from an agent cruise she may have accidentally blown an embargo date on the info she shared - I doubt she made it up or meant to do harm - she seems like a sweet person in her videos. Again - if I crossed the line here - I fully apologize.
