Oh, here we go again. Yes - I use a fresh towel every. single. time. Yes, I use a fresh towel every single time at home. This will really chap your cheeks - I use another one on my hair! And don't start again with me about being wasteful - I do my own laundry and pay my own bills. Remember to ride your bicycle to the port before you jump on my "wastefulness".

I always tip bar service in cash. I could be wrong about this, but I think if you just add a tip to your receipt it goes into the tip pool and not just to the person you were intending on tipping. If someone knows if this is true or false, please respond.

I'm really sorry this has happened to you. Have you checked the cabin prices on the 2nd ship to see if they are comparable? I'm wondering if you might be better off to take the full refund and completely rebook the cruise choosing the cabins you would prefer. I know this doesn't help for this time, but in the future, a good travel agent could help navigate a problem like this for you. Please let us know how it works out - if it happened to you, it could happen to us.

We feel your pain. We went on Ovation this past September and they totally skipped the Dawes Glacier visit due to "lack of daylight" - I call BS. They went to the glacier the week before and the week after. I can find out the daylight hours for a hundred years from now. We booked a "7 Night Dawes Glacier Cruise" that never went...

My fav - Defroidmont chocolate in Erezee Belgium. Even cheap Galaxy chocolate from the UK is better than our American Hershey imho

We have the UDP booked for two different sailings in 2024. Liberty and Icon.

I don't know if this would even be feasible, but there is a 3 night sailing out of Miami on Mariner that leaves Aug 4 that still has cabins available. If losing some money/spending more money isn't as important as keeping the family together, it might be an option.

I would be in a total panic. I really hope you can work this out! Please keep us updated.

They spa junior suites are on the Quantum class ships. We had one this past September on Ovation for an Alaska cruise - we LOVED it!

Irresponsible? Really? You want to go there? I pay my bills, if you were paying them for me, you might get a vote. Unless you ride a bicycle to the port...oh wait, is that cruise ship 100% environmentally friendly? You better be absolutely perfect before you call me irresponsible for using a fresh, clean towel each day.

That would definitely be a LOT of laundry! I would still use fresh towels lol After getting out of the pool, I dry off with a pool towel.. and then go back to my cabin and take a shower to get rid of the chemicals and dry off w/ a clean towel.

No drama here. I do laundry 2 or 3 times a week. There are 2 people in my household and we each use at least 1 towel and 1 washcloth per day each. Sometimes more. So, if there are multiple people in your house, how do you know which towel belongs to which person? Do you all have your own special color? Your own special hook? I also put out fresh towels in the kitchen every day and put yesterday's in the laundry. I'm pretty fanatical about sheets as well 🙂 And yes, someone can reuse their towel one time, just not me lol.

I do find it disgusting. Let's assume you took a shower about 20 minutes ago, you're still clean, right? Now, I want you to run upstairs to the bathroom, drop your drawers, take a wad of toilet paper and rub it really vigorously between your butt cheeks. Now, take that same wad of toilet paper and rub it all over your face. Why not? It is clean, isn't it? Yeah.. you do you, and I will continue to use a fresh towel every.single.time.

Maybe lots of people do, but not this girl...nope! I don't reuse towels at home and I'm not going to on vacation. To some, it might be 'green' or whatever, to me - the thought is disgusting.

The first time I went to the UK to meet my mother in law, my husband had told her I drink coffee with cream, she served me many, many cups of coffee with double cream floating on the top 🙂 It was unexpected, but delicious lol

I guess I don't like "mean" humor. If the only way you think you can get a laugh is by tearing apart the person who performed right before you about their heritage, lack of hair, etc. .. you aren't funny. That was low enough, but then it was followed with snarky comments about gender that really shouldn't be said in public in what was then 2021. Just a bit of background - I'm a white, straight woman of Scandinavian descent - none of his schtick was directed my way.

Not so much. We had him on a previous Oasis cruise and would prefer not to ever have him again.
