Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. There is technically no difference in space between queen and twin set up, since the space of the room doesn't change, the bed sizes don't change, and it's just the placement. However, it's perception of space, since two the "small" sides of the queen are combined into one between the twins. It may be more workable space, such as stretches or yoga, but it's not more space. It's a matter of preference. I prefer queen to be with my DH, but if I was going solo, I'd do the Twin set up for the center space.
  2. Wow! 28 day free cruise would be something, but I agree, unfortunate work interrupts our free time! Good point in that the com back cruise offer may be more limited compared to the other promotions. I'll keep an eye out.
  3. Yes, from my searches before, it seemed a lot of persons said theirs was limited, but I didn't know if there was a set amount. Thanks for your input.
  4. I am looking at a 16 day cruise, which is on the longer end. Lol, I wouldn't think a world cruise would be on the offer board!
  5. Hello! I have a May cruise coming up, and I've been looking at a cruise in December. I am budgeting to play in the casino during the May cruise, so possible to get an offer (not gunning for one, but I know my budget/play may get one), but I don't know if the Casino offers longer itineraries for the come back and play offers, or if it caps at some point. So does the Casino offer go to longer itineraries, or does it cap off at a certain number of days?
  6. This is the first time I have a cabin I was willing to put in an upgrade for, but I don't know how to tell if the bid is appropriately priced. I compared what I had to what the upgrade could have cost initially (the sailing I have is sold out to price check), it seems like it'd have been cheaper to initially buy the upgrade than bid for it. Is this common, or am I missing a detail?
  7. I'm looking at my phone application, which is showing $63. The other $ amounts in the app are appropriate USD cost, such as the Plus package valid for up to $15 in drinks. Very strange for it just to show AUS $ for the specialty meals when everything else is USD.
  8. I was initially going to book a Crown Grill for DH and I on our upcoming cruise, but then I saw it was $63 per person. I live in Hawaii, I don't pay $63USD for a steak meal here, let alone on a cruise where I'm already paying per day to be there. In my opinion, that is just far too much for a corn-fed steak.
  9. I hope the September/August 2026 tours get released sooner than June/July. That's my next availability, and I'm excited to start planning for it sooner rather than later!
  10. Oh wow, i was not expecting the "extra cost" of the steak/lobster to be full restaurant prices. Like, the amount you'd pay when you're buying ala cart off ship somewhere. That is insane to me. I can see $5, maybe $10 extra at the Main Dinning facility, but starting at nearly $20 extra?
  11. He was using a VPN, and had cleared his cookies. IDK, it was weird it still refused. But it's no hardship for us to wait until August when we're actually there.
  12. Yeah, we weren't trying to switch the current booking over. He was creating his account on Princess, and it wouldn't let him register as from the UK, only offering US. We're going back to the UK in August, so we'll try again there.
  13. My husband is from the UK, new to sailing, and I've just recently booked a cruise for us using my account (which has sailed before). He tried to register as being from the UK, but for some reason it kept defaulting to US residency. Perhaps because I added him as my passenger on our cruise? IDK.
