Thanks, CWN.  We will look forward to the regional deck buffets.  Now the real question is, can we go for months without eating real Tex-Mex!  Haha!

How often are menus changed on a world cruise?  While I know the menus in Compass Rose are rotated out, do they ever change entirely?  Maybe by region?

Just curious.

Just off Navigator last month and spent a lot of time on the pool deck. The bathrooms are cleaned constantly and rarely is there any waiting.

Thanks Jegoodman.  I was thinking about $150pp per port.  That may be about right. 

I know that the pricing is all over the place depending on what you do but what do you think is the average price per port for two people.  We are looking at an extended cruise (maybe a world cruise) and are trying to get an idea.  I know we can book a private tour cheaper and AZ gives a generous obc to the cruisers.  Any ideas?

Count us out until things go back to normal.  These restrictions will not make for a good time, plus, the cruise lines are going to have to jack up the prices significantly to cover their costs (don't blame them for that).

It was several years ago, but we booked with red October that loved them.  Much cheaper than booking the ships excursions, too.

Thanks for the replies.  It just seems odd for AZ to do one and not another.  We are starting to research a WC and I was hoping that AZ would offer something.  Looks like we will have to concentrate on other lines.

Check to see if the obc is refundable or non-refundable.  If it is non-refundable spend it on the dining package, spa or gift shop.  Maybe upgrade the booze package or get an internet package.

Actual, the shore excursions are quite good and they have small groups.

Thanks for the replies. Without all of the "perks" AZ will have to come WAY down on the price to make doing back to back segments worth while. I would really like to see a real world cruise that starts and ends in the US.

Guess we will just have to wait and see.

We are a few years out from being able to cruise that long but I don't see anything offered after 2018. Anyone know?

What is the area for suite guess like? I know there is a different lunch on other ships. Is it the same on AZ?

I've always had a hard time with the AZ website. I want to see excursions for the Quest 3/9/18 and the Quest 4/718. Can someone help me?

If you use the BPG don't you lose all of your perks?

We were on the Quest for this years fireworks display. The crowds were insane anywhere close to the fireworks and this was at 8 pm when we were wandering around. Went back to ship and had good view of fireworks from upper deck although as was pointed out you do miss some of the low level fireworks. Still pretty impressive and didn't have to fight the crowds to get back to the ship afterwards.
