This won't please my hubby since he prefers beer and wine to hard liquor. The new promotion seems like another gimmick since the prices went way up on the cruise.

We had a CL suite on deck 17/18 for a transatlantic and were fine with the movement of the ship. It was hardly noticeable for the couple of days when the waves kicked up. The rest of the time there was no movement so you should be fine on deck 14. As far as being under the H20 Zone, it might get loud during the day but at night you should be fine.

The "like" promotion states a premium beverage package. Does that include all of the premium packages?

Were the chairs and tables moving around in the cabins? We had a CL on the Allure for the TA. The door to the suite was on the 17th floor and the bed was on the 18th floor. I can't imagine how much that would be rocking. Was there a place where passengers in the higher floors could go to get away from so much swaying?

That article was written January 28th. If it was very serious, we would have heard something from someone on board.

If it is not clear, the Celebrity and Az program is combined. only one number and awards earned on either go to the total. And if you have RCCL status you can reciprocate.

I did not know that. So, I will earn points for both X and AZ, yet have the benefits level which comes from RCL?

Thanks, Bob. That is what I was looking for. Now I guess I will be spending tomorrow trying to find out how AZ already had my X number when I went to book the cruise and hopefully, get them to change it without too much hassle.

We just booked our first AZ cruise and I am wondering if I can use my crown and anchor tier on AZ. It is higher than what we have with X.

Does the afternoon sun cause the room to heat up? Does it make the balcony too hot to sit out there?

I can't seem to find any information about shops on AZ. It doesn't look like there is much but what is there? Any interesting items?

I think if you're making a full transit you have to somehow be in the Pacific either before or after.

We are looking at booking a full transit going through the panama canal and are wondering if there is a better side of the ship to be on when sitting out on the balcony. We will be going from the Atlantic to the Caribbean if that makes a difference.

OK, thanks. I was thinking that maybe the VX were wider than the V3.

Looking at various websites, the VX is showing a larger balcony vs. a V3, yet the pictures of the VX makes the room look bigger. The distance between the foot of the bed and the wall is a larger area (VX). Is this true or are you just paying extra for the bigger balcony?

Please keep us updated. We are newbies, too, who are booked for next year. I would like another newbies opinion on the cruise line and the ship.

People were looking on the Miami webcam. Since the ship has already left port it is no longer viewable.

Is it a price reduction or a new promotion?

On the outside chance that the price goes down will the price be honored? I know on "new bookings" I can't get the lower price.

I know there is no guarantee that the price will go down after I book, but if it does will az honor the reduction without screwing with the onboard credit?

We are looking at booking a full transit of the panama canal in 2017. I am well aware that AZ has increased the prices to offer the new "freebies" which include credit for excursions.

I want to see what type of excursions include disabled travelers. My Dad uses a walker. He can walk just not very far. If there are not many excursions that can accommodate him, then we need to look elsewhere. Thanks.
