  1. I was not aware that shore excursions were more expensive when booked onboard as opposed to online prior to the cruise. Can someone confirm or deny this?

I'd like to now about this, too. Also, I assume you still can't use OBC to pre-book tours before you board?

  2. Trying to plan a cruise on Quest and would like to know where the ship docks in Venice. We are thinking of doing the Redentore Festival and would also like suggestions on which side of the ship our cabin should be on.

  3. Just off the Quest two weeks ago and I had the same concern, however, there was no problem booking the excursions we wanted. There were plenty to choose from, too. I don't think many book before hand.

  4. I am starting to get real nervous. We got the "more to love" pkg as a promotion when we booked our cruise over a year ago and will be leaving in a few weeks. We have OBC that can only be used for excursions and the ones I wanted are booked. I am afraid that when we get onboard there will not be anything left that will be interesting to us.

So, my question is, could you sign up for tours that you wanted once onboard?

  5. We had a CL on the Allure which is the same layout as Oasis, and enjoyed it very much. The suite lounge had better food than the MDR, IMHO, so we ate there most of the time. Suite guests have a certain area to sit in at the shows and the concierge can make reservations after you board. If you show up about 20 minutes before the show starts, just show them your suite card and they will let you in. We even got in to the comedy club by just showing up but I will admit we got lucky.

I wouldn't worry too much about reservations before you board as the concierge is quite accommodating.
