We have booked the Quest for the Redentore Festival. Where does everybody go to see the fireworks? Can you see them from the deck?
-
Never mind, I found it. It is on the LCV page that I was looking at but didn't see! Hahaha.
-
Does anyone have a phone number for LCV? If the number is online, I can't find it and I need to talk to a live person about my free nights. Thanks.
-
Thanks for the replies. That's what I needed.

Do I need a code for OBC for booking a cruise over a year out? If I do, does anyone have that code?
-
I was not aware that shore excursions were more expensive when booked onboard as opposed to online prior to the cruise. Can someone confirm or deny this?
I'd like to now about this, too. Also, I assume you still can't use OBC to pre-book tours before you board?
-
Are the bags in the suites the same ones given to the rest of the guests?
-
Thanks for all the replies. I am just starting to research this cruise so I am sure I will be back with more questions.

Trying to plan a cruise on Quest and would like to know where the ship docks in Venice. We are thinking of doing the Redentore Festival and would also like suggestions on which side of the ship our cabin should be on.

I would love for RCCL to do away with formal nights. We have cruised long enough for it to lose its appeal. Having just go off Azamara, which has a resort casual dress code, not having a formal night was wonderful.
I do understand newbies wanting to dress up, though.

Thanks for all of the replies. I remember bloody Mary's but it has been awhile.
-
It has been a while since we cruised RCL so are the drinks still free at the M&M?
-
Just off the Quest two weeks ago and I had the same concern, however, there was no problem booking the excursions we wanted. There were plenty to choose from, too. I don't think many book before hand.
-
Thanks, Bonnie. Several of the original tours look wonderful! I hope there are seats available and will be checking once on board.

I am starting to get real nervous. We got the "more to love" pkg as a promotion when we booked our cruise over a year ago and will be leaving in a few weeks. We have OBC that can only be used for excursions and the ones I wanted are booked. I am afraid that when we get onboard there will not be anything left that will be interesting to us.
So, my question is, could you sign up for tours that you wanted once onboard?

Love the bloody hands! Too cute.

Thanks for the replies. I need to check to see if the TA credit is refundable. I can't imagine how we are going to spend the amount since we prefer to sight see on our own.
-
How do you know if an OBC is refundable?
-
Can we use OBC to book a future cruise while onboard? Some of the credit is for shore excursions and some is just straight OBC. We have never booked onboard so not sure of the pros and cons.
-
How much should we expect to spend on board? This trip is definitely on our bucket list.
-
How the heck can AZ properly clean EVERYTHING before the next group of cruisers come on board?
-
Thank you for the Live review....any chance you could get a few pics of the Suite Sun Deck? I heard rumors that there is a Jacuzzi up there?
Thanks!
That would be awesome! I hope they put one on the Allure. We loved that place.
-
I hope they don't change the breakfast menu. That was great!
-
We had a CL on the Allure which is the same layout as Oasis, and enjoyed it very much. The suite lounge had better food than the MDR, IMHO, so we ate there most of the time. Suite guests have a certain area to sit in at the shows and the concierge can make reservations after you board. If you show up about 20 minutes before the show starts, just show them your suite card and they will let you in. We even got in to the comedy club by just showing up but I will admit we got lucky.
I wouldn't worry too much about reservations before you board as the concierge is quite accommodating.
Redentore fireworks. Can you see them from the ship?

Thanks, Grandma. I saw where someone was saying that the crowds were so bad in St Marks that people were fainting. I am hoping that the upper deck will be a nice place for viewing but far enough away from the maddening crowds.
