  1. Just looked it up as I had no idea what it was. The suite guests may keep it and I hope they enjoy it. Not for me though, I wouldn’t go if Princess paid me $149
  2. I booked under a special offer promotion last year and got a free plus package. In July this year I upgraded that plus package to premier. My personaliser says I have the plus package - this is after I have logged in and on the packages page - it states 'purchased' under plus. However, if I go into the 'confirm current packages' page it lists the benefits of plus and also some of the benefits of premier (but not all). For example I have listed Plus Bev Pkg and also Premium Bar Upgrade Medallion Net 1 device wifi and medalion net device upgrade I wont list them all but the new premier benefits that are not mentioned at all are Unlimted room service delivery Ocean now delivery Unlimited casual dining Meanwhile on my invoice (sent through today so brand new) it states I have the plus package but also further down states I have the Premier bar package. I have spoken to two different customer service agents and also done live chat. They all insist I have the new premier package (including those benefits that arent listed in my personaliser) but that there is nothing they can do to change the information on the invoice or on the perosnaliser but that 'I shoundt worry as the ship will know' Anyone else had anything like this? Anyone know anything else I can try to get my invoice and personaliser to refelct what I have actually booked? This is my first time with Princess - is this the frustrating experience I can expect? Looking to book my 2024 and 2025 cruises and I've already rules Princess out and I havent even set foot on one of their ships yet.
  3. Yeah there will be plenty of choice in the buffet. Was looking for something for when we are in the cafes but it doesn't look like there will be. Just removes a couple of options for us unfortunately
  4. Thanks for trying to help but she doesnt like any of the ones we have seen on menus. None of these have cheddar cheese on alone and thats the only cheese she likes. Also doesnt like veg or salad

  6. Sailing on Anthem in September. Will these two venues do custom sandwich orders? Been looking through menus and youtube etc and my other half wouldn't eat any of the pre made ones. She doesnt like mayo/mustard/cranberry/chutney/relish or any sort of cheese except cheddar for example

  9. Im on Anthem in September and have a couple of questions about a cash account (I dont want holds on my debit card) 1. When I visit guest services to take my debit card off and convert my seapass account to cash - can I load my seapass account with a debit card payment or do I have to use physical cash currency? 2. Similar question for the end of the cruise - if I have a positive balance on my account will guest services refund me by making a payment to my debit card or will they give me phsycial cash? What I would like to do is have a cash account but use my debit card to deposit cash to the account and have a positive balance returned to my debit card at the end of the cruise. For any helpful posters who may advise that I get a credit card - I dont want one, havent got one and wont be getting one.
  10. Can I ride the North Star more than once? I know port days are free and sea days are charged but can I do one of each? Can I do more than one of each (presuming I can get the reservations)? Are there any limitations at all on how many slots you can book and rides you can have on the North Star?
  11. Still listed for my cruise too. I will skip it if we end up buying the key as I dont like the look of the menu. Definitely still listed as a benefit though.

  13. Looking at the above package for our cruise on Anthem in September. When I go to book it the planner asks me to book a single date and time. My options are 1st day or second day. Whats that for then? It doesnt even say which restaurant Im reserving a table at and why am I only reserving one day and time when the package includes two restaurants?
  14. The price isn’t too bad for my cruise. About £80 more for the two of us (£40 each) than wifi. Im not paying a penny though if priority boarding is only actually means getting into the terminal within your port arrival window. If I cant find out definitively one way or the other then I just wont bother.

  16. Can anyone tell me how long special needs take to respond to an email? It was special_needs@rccl.com that I messaged last Tuesday and I got an automatic reply immediately. Nothing since. I do not want to call them as I am in the UK and can only find a US number, plus - I do not like speaking to people 😄
  17. I am new to cruising and have been reading up (mainly on these boards) about The Key. Ive seen a lot of posts mention priority embarkation as a benefit however this is what I see when I look at the benefits on my cruise planner. Priority access into the terminal (within booked arrival time) on Day 1. Carry-on bag drop off and delivery to stateroom. Drop-off your carry-on bags in the Main Dining Room until 1:30pm. Exclusive welcome lunch in the Main Dining Room featuring the Chops Grille Lunch menu. Private time at onboard activities including Rock Climbing, FlowRider and more. Priority departure at tender ports of call from ship-to-shore. Seats in the exclusive VIP seating section at shows in the Main Theatre, Aqua Theater, Studio B and Two70 (reservation is needed). VOOM ® Surf & Stream 1 Device high speed internet. On debarkation day, enjoy an exclusive à la carte breakfast and choice departure. So Priority access into the terminal within my booked arrival time doesn't sound like priority embarkation to me. Does this benefit perhaps differ by port?
