Cool Cruiser

Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. any new sargassum info for Costa Maya? We are not due there until end of November... but curious if anyone has any new info.. thanky
  2. On our cruises...we spend quite a bit....
  3. Thanks for the info... re the ruins.. MSC does offer a small group (max 12) tour.. but just curious folks personal experiences on how crowded it can get... and for the beach clubs in town... for us.. they just look a little too crowded in with chairs for a small beach... just not our thing.. thanks!!
  4. Heading to Costa Maya in late November (MSC) and been researching and originally Maya Chan looked like a great way to spend a day.. but... seems the whole area of beaches is a bit of a bust with the sargassum. So looking at the Chacchoben ruins tour... Ok.. be honest.. How crowded does it get there? Looks like three ships scheduled that day..... I love history and photography, etc.. but is it really worth it? Honestly for that stop we are just leaning towards wandering around the port.. and then hanging out on the ship Any thoughts on excursions that are really worth it? Thanks!!!
  5. Thanks for all the info....really appreciate it!
  6. Thanks for the insight! This will be our first NCL so will have that side of it to compare.......
  7. We have sailed QM2 in Brittania cabins and it was wonderful.. We actual love the formal nights and the atmosphere... We are ballroom dancers so dancing every night was fantastic... Just not sure if the financial bump up to Grills is worth it knowing that everything was already so nice with Brittania
  8. We have cruised several times on various lines... but One of our all time favorite trips is a transatlantic on Queen Mary II. We have only done Brittania for that but looking at Grills for our next crossing Silly question and hope this is ok. we will be in the NCL Haven next month for the first time and That being said, Has anyone sailed both the Haven and Queens Grill on Qm2 and any way to compare and or contrast? I know dress and formal evenings are very different but more curious about service, dining, facilities... etc The prices are pretty similar so looking at a transatlantic later in the year and trying to decide if we do Grills or Brittania. Thanks.
