  1. We will be in Bermuda the week of August 15th on the Carnival Magic. This is disappointing to hear. We had planned a trip to the caves and to explore Tom Moore's. Any idea how long the trip would take each way if we were to fairy to Hamilton and then take the bus. We did take the NCL fairy last time but I cant remember how long of a ride it was. Thanks
  2. Anybody have any insight on how close to the cruise this can be booked. I know it's past final payment date as it still shows up as an option to purchase. No incentive on waiting, a few in our party are still up in the air if they are going to purchase or not.
  3. I have never been on to buy cruise insurance. 12 cruises without any problem and then...........NORO. I think I ended up with a $800 bill from the infirmary. Carnival was nice enough to give me $400 FCC. Anyway for the cheap price of cruise insurance and with everything going on with Covid travel, I will probably get the Insurance that Carnival offers. My question is how close to the cruise am I able to purchase the insurance. We sail August 15th and as of today looks like I still have the option to purchase an their website.
  4. When we were younger they did seem to play a large roll in our cruises. Probably because we participated in a lot more group activities and the parties they threw. Anymore it doesn't really matter to us. Still is nice to have a lively and funny cruise director though.
  5. Yeah I'm at work and youtube is blocked on my computer lol can I get a cliff notes version?
  6. We are going on this same cruise August 15th. How were the crowds on the ship? overall ship condition? Its a cruise and were going to make the best of it but Magic has been getting beat up pretty bad lately.
  7. I cant see the video. Can you fill me in on what happened? This is what we planned to use.
  8. Thanks guys! the $6 is a small price to pay to have to not stand in that line. I think the pizza is pretty decent too. This is our goto during dive in movies.
  9. Does anyone know if they are still doing pizza delivery through the hub app? I am hoping this was not one of the things cut recently because of staffing issues. Thanks for the response.
  10. We are on the same sailing as you. I am second guessing as well. Our last cruise was on Horizon in a Havana cabana soon as things started back up. To say it spoiled us would be an understatement. However we are doing a family cruise with our son, my father and wife's mother. I think we booked at a pretty good rate. $1570 for the three of us in a balcony. It is what it is at this point and will make the best of it. We have cruised out of NY 3 times and I cant say that crowd has really been any different then anywhere else.
  11. I don't know if we just got a really good deal with are VIFP but Oasis was $1800 more for a family of three then our August Magic sailing. I really wanted to sail Oasis but couldn't justify spending that much extra
  12. I am obsessed with the Dive in Movies. To be honest it is what hooked me with Carnival and kept me fairly loyal. It was severely missed when we switched lines. Just a great setup with both bars right there and cool sea breeze. Unfortunately our cruise last August the movies stunk, probably because Hollywood was still catching up after covid. This is a solid list here, cant wait to see what ours will be in August.
  13. You can still cruise with no booster correct? just means the testing deadlines are different?
  14. Great website. I have to say I am very pleased with the Magic shows for our upcoming August cruise. Last years Horizon shows were a let down to say the least.
  15. My wife and I have been on 8 cruises as a married couple. We have traveled all 8 with birth certificates. While I always bring a copy of our marriage license "its stays in our cruise folder" we have never once been asked to show it. I would bring the copy to be safe but doubt you will be asked to show it.
