  1. Need a friend. 😂 Aren't we all. Enjoying the adventure one day at a time. 🍻
  2. Just ask for the menus from the other three MDRs you are not eating in. You can select from each of the four to build your own meal.
  3. That's not the evening CC HH gathering for Elite and above @Maggie 1008was asking about. You are referencing the CC welcome event for all CC members or the CC senior officers party for Elite and above.
  4. Yes. I use the same plastic luggage tag holders for RC, Celebrity and Princess. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01E4SQNLS?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details
  5. That also can happen when you are really enjoying your Beverage Package. 😂🍷
  6. Were on deck 8 in cabin 8530. It did have the angled plexiglass. The balcony has the metal walls on each side.
  7. Agree. That has been our experience on E class ships. We will be on the Edge this September. We have Select Dining early. When we first board the ship we'll head to the MDR where requests are be taken and speak with them about how they are handling the dining. We don't care what they call it as long as we get the time we want and the table we want as we always dine in the same MDR.
  8. You are wrong. Second afternoon of our 18 March 2023 Apex cruise I walked in to the spa entrance where the desk is in the waiting area and as I was walking down the hallway to the men’s shower/change room and just before entering I heard a female voice, “sir, where are you going”? I replied to take a shower.” I entered the change room. She opened the door behind me (crossed the line there) and said, “you need to leave”. I got undressed and took my shower. That same evening when we returned to our stateroom for the night there was a mid-cruise comment card. So I filled it out describing my rude spa employee encounter. I turned the comment card in at GS after breakfast the next morning. Within 30 minutes of returning to our room the phone rang. It was GS and asked if I’d be willing to speak with the Spa Manager. I said yes and GS connected me to the Spa Manager. The Spa Manager wanted more details of my experience if any and a description of the employee. I gave her both requests. She then assured me the change rooms are for all Apex guests to use and not just spa guests. I use the change/shower room twice a day (7:30 AM and 3:30 PM) and I was the only one in there at those times. She also told me she would brief her staff accordingly. She also offered me free spa time but I declined. Not a spa person. Then we got off the ship for the day. When we returned to our room there was a message on our phone from the HD following up and he echoed what the spa manager told me and to call him if need to. I didn’t as the issue was resolved politely and quickly. We also had a plate of chocolate covered strawberries and a note signed by the HD and spa manger in our stateroom. I plan on using the spa shower/change room on our September Edge cruise. The spa contractor and their employees don’t maintain the shower/change rooms. All cleaning, restocking of towels, lotion, shower caps, soap, shampoo, conditioner and even putting robes in each locker is done by a Celebrity employee.
  9. No way. I prefer the orginal as it takes me back to that moment of time what was happening in my life.
  10. I don't shop. The only time I step foot in a ship store is if my wife wants me to check something out. 🤣
  11. Glad we have the CC Wash N Fold laundry perk. 😅
  12. @stvntra...we use this rain gear if needed. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07TDK396X?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details
  13. T The only time my wife buys anything onboard is with nonrefundable OBC. Refundable OBC usually(but not always) she doesn't spend.
  14. Agree but this isn't just a cruise thing. It happens everywhere. Worldwide. Can't do anything about it. Maybe live in a bubble. 😁 We take the same precaution's we always have no matter where we are.
  15. Typically ~1:PM is when the announcement is made that the cabins are ready and has been our experiences.
  16. You'll be surprised how well it works, how much the staff has completed and how nice it is to ditch the carry on(s). You can also stash stuff in the safe if you want. We wish RC and Princess would follow Celebritys lead.
  17. I'm not arguing with you either. Just passing on info. ✌️
  18. Celebrity has always started the boarding process before the cabins are ready. Nothing new.
  19. You must have boarded after 1:PM when the cabins were open to occupy.
  20. Not a Celebrity secret. When was your last Celebrity cruise? Celebrity has been doing this for at least five years, fleetwide. We are usually onboard between 11 - 12 and cabins aren't dirty. Not 100% ready and why you are asked not to linger. 2019 on the Summit was our first experience with this change. Every cruise after that also. No matter the class of ship.
  21. What ship are you booked on? Only on the E class ships are the 4 different MDRs. You can dine in all four or select your favorite (s). You can also request the menus from the MDRs you are not eating in. When you first board the ship on embarkation you can go directly to your cabin to drop off your carry on(s) and pick up your Seapass card. You are asked not to linger in your cabin. Around ~1:PM the general announcement will be made letting you know the cabins are ready. Also Celebrity has pillow chocolates every evening.
