  1. I like the app for completing the seven requirements at home to get in the green line. I use the medallion at the embarkation terminal for check-in. Once on the ship, my phone is off and put away for most of the cruise. I do use the app while on the ship to check our onboard account. But you can print that out at the kiosks at GS. Because I elect not to use my phone while onboard I don't take advantage all the the medallion offers. Everyone has their reason.
  2. Fitness Center which your referenced is on deck 15. Why my comment. Spa is on deck 14. Outside access will need to be answered by those that have experience with the thermal suites. I don't.
  3. I always pack in our first aid kit that's in our checked luggage a corkscrew that has an 1.25 inch knife style foil cutter on it. Also mustache scissors. No problems. https://www.celebritycruises.com/faqs/before-you-board
  4. I have that swelling problem also but not my ankles, feet or calf's. 😂 Try and see if the compressions socks work. I know you are a beach/water person. We aren't beach people anymore and she no longer wear shorts. So her compression socks are outta sight. Personally I'd have no issues wearing dark ones with shorts if I had swelling issues.
  5. My wife has also struggled in the past with swollen calves, feet and ankles. Especially while flying and cruising. Meds might be better for you, but have you tried compression socks? March 2022 on the second leg of our Caribbean B2B cruise on the Explorer she had a vein blowout. Open wound. Not a pretty sight. We met a couple in the DL one evening and sat next to us in the MDR. They advised (based on their personal experiences) my wife to see a wound specialist when we returned home. To tell ya the truth, we never heard of that kind of specialist. Weird conversation but beneficial to my wife. When we got home she saw a open wound specialist and had excellent repair results. One thing the Dr. suggested/ stressed was to wear compression socks. Traveling or not. Every cruise after 2022 she hasn't had issues with ankle, calves and feet swelling. Always wears her compression socks before getting on the plane.
  6. You cannot access the outside thru the fitness center. Unless you plan on breaking one of the ceiling to floor windows.
  7. Did you select your wife's name? All we used was our medallion at the embarkation terminal.
  8. We enjoyed the Tutti salad when it was offered in the MDR on sea days. Worked for us as we rarely eat in the WJ and especially on sea days. I'm sure the incredits I selected to have my salad built were also offered in the WJ. Possibly some that weren't offered in the WJ. Plus you get a little entertainment. 😄
  9. Go to the aft. Deck 15. Sunset bar and area has plenty of seats to enjoy the aft view while enjoying a drink or how many.
  10. I annotated on our PCSs about our "one" bad experience with them and that's exactly why we didn't book (had a cruise, itinerary, cabin, PBP, ect.) while onboard. Booked the cruise when we got home. From our "one" negative experience we'll never book a future cruise (Princess) while onboard.
  11. We like the current version also, but... Glad we got to enjoy the orginal version over the years. Maybe I ate too many. Nah! 😁
  12. IMO and my wifes, bummer Princess did away with the orginal Princess Love Boat Dream. Sooo much better than the current one.
  13. We are over packers and also have the CAS laundry perk (wash n fold). Each of us gets a laundry bag. We use that perk for underwear and socks even though we over pack on those items also.
  14. B2B/Consecutive cruises are two different cruises. RC doesn't sell B2B cruises. Staying on the same ship for two cruises. Can be the same itinerary or different itineraries. We always book our B2B cruises to be two different itineraries, same cabin. At the end of the first leg your account is closed. Nothing carries over to the second leg. B2B/consecutive cruisers will receive a detailed TAD letter a day or two before the end of the first leg outlining the entire TAD process for that specific TAD.
  15. There may be a BOXER that might challenge you on that.
  16. Agree. I know one of the OSJ piers has that huge terminal (I think yellow in color) that we have disembark thru when stopping in OSJ as a port visit.
  17. Our San Juan cruises (Celebrity and RC) have left from the Pan Am pier which is located across the harbor from Old San Juan. Our port stops at SJ have always been downtown OSJ. Assuming Princess will also be leaving from the Pan Am pier.
  18. San Juan is also a great place to leave from to take in the ABC port stops along with other Caribbean port stops on the same itinerary.
  19. A perfect time to break out singing Na Na Hey Hey Kiss Him Goodbye while waving your napkins.
  20. Agree. I had an issue with a contracted employee on a Celebrity cruise, reported the problem I encountered to GS thru a mid cruise survey. Guest Services, Hotel Director and the employees manager all contacted me and got involved. Problem taken care of immediately.
  21. I've always thought contracted employees should wear a different type of name tag. But, if there is a problem with a contracted employee (photographer, ect.) that is reported to Princess the responsibility falls back on Princess to handle it with the contracted employee/employer.
  22. D+ and Pinnacle laundry perk, so why not. Pictures to follow. 🤣
