Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. Thank you so much for this information and for attaching the pictures as well. This was really helpful!
  2. Hi all-- Has anyone stayed in this cabin? Trying to figure out a couple of things: 1) Are there any crew spaces or work areas near this stateroom? Looking at the ship's deck plans, looks like a blank space is directly in front of this room (and alongside an interior cabin room 10811). I always thought blank spaces on a ships deck plans were crew areas. Also, I noticed the Aqua has the same deck plans as the Viva and Prima in terms of staterooms. But the Aqua doesn't show that slide obstruction on the Starboard side. Trying to select the right cabin to make my family members happy--no small feat! Thanks everyone!
  3. More excellent tips! Thank you kindly. I'm putting all this important info into one document to serve as my reference sheet.
  4. Thank you so much. I very much appreciate this info. I'm ordering the HearOs now on Amazon. You've been so helpful.
  5. Thank you so much! This is very helpful information. I will start looking into this right away.
  6. Hi, I know this is a really old post, but I am curious how your NCL cruise went with your son? We are looking for connecting rooms as our child has a very specific night time routine and needs his quiet space to wind down with lots of rituals. Trying to get through to NCL to ask if three people are allowed to book connecting rooms has been quite difficult. Was wondering what type of cabin you all had. Most of the balcony staterooms accommodate four people, but we definitely need a separate room. Thanks!
  7. You are so funny! This was exactly what I was looking for and more. Thank you so much for your honest review and for the hotel recommendation as well. You've convinced me--I am going to book! Thank you!!!
  8. Did you end up taking this cruise? I would love to hear your opinion on whether the room was noisy being underneath Chops. We are considering the RS on Liberty this summer. Thanks!
  9. Thank you GTJ! I've gotten some excellent feedback from folks so I am really no longer a bit worried about grabbing a cab and going a short distance.
  10. Yes, agreed--a generous tip goes a long way.
  11. Another quick question for New Yorkers and/or frequent taxi riders--will the cabbies get mad if we only have a 3, 4-minute drive to the hotel from the Port Authority? Most Time Square hotels are a stones throw, and if it were just my husband and me, we would walk no problem, but we've got kids, luggage, elderly parents. I'm a Bostonian and I can tell you the airport cabbies absolutely hate when you hitch a ride from Logan to cities in greater Boston that are only about 2 or 3 miles out. They yell at you that you should have taken the T. Will we have a problem getting a cab at PA to go such a short distance that will only cost about $5?? Thanks all!
  12. I saw the cat on the website! My daughter will love that!
  13. Princeton123211--Just booked the Barrymore Suite at The Algonquin--thanks so much for the suggestion!
