Please share how you think the ship and crew handle that volume such as restaurant availability etc if you are able because while we loved our time on board i wonder how EJ would perform with a karger pax count Thank you -

From having just gotten off the ship i find that luxury and premium cruisers should love EJ. If not then they might have other issues just saying lol -

Im not certain but it seems i have seen a drop in pricing -
Dear Patti and all others Having just gotten off Explora Journeys less than a week ago and with a cruise on the Vista set in January I can tell you with absolute certainty that while some communication with EJ is lacking there is absolutely nothing lacking about the on board experience. I have been on ovet 100 cruises and am neither a TA nor a so called influencer just someone who loves to cruise and have been doing so since 1980. The food and service on E J are unmatched i am hopeful the Vista will be excellent EJ cruise was less than full which meant it was better because i am not sure how a full ship would feel. All in all i have a total feeling of gratitude for having had the Explora experience and hope to have it again. In addition we had an Ocean terrace 1 cabin which is entry level and it was delightful All the best

Well I happen to like Anchovies on pizza. I never asked the pizza maker to do anything. I did however go over to the ceaser salad station and picked up some Anchovies and placed it on my pizza. Loved it Loved the food loved the ship and in hindsight the cruise remains wonderful with great memories -

Enjoy and you will also find filet minion topped with foie gras at the Emporium. They will also serve you foie by itself. Enjoy as the food is spectacular and memorable in a great way -
Yes i was referring to R ships. I was on it originally with Renaissance and subsequently with both Azamara and Oceania. Most recently a PH on Sirena which had been recently renovated and it was great and much larger.
-
When renaissance went out of business, the companies that acquired the ships changed the bedding and they were excellent
-
I was on the original Renaissance and recall rhe beds were not comfortable

We ate the diver sole twice at Mediterranean yarch club and it was excellent i have seen others post that it was comparable to TK. I lived the TK lobster Thermador and also lived the lobster Thermador at Fil Rouge and ate that 3 times. Wonder which one has less cholesterol? Lol Enjoy -

Outstanding analysis thank you. We have experienced over 40 plus years of cruising a great deal of variety in our cruise selection. Now that we are post Covid we are baxk cruising and this year we did Celebrity which we always enjoy and EJ which rocked the house so to speak. In January 2024 we will booked on Oceania Vista so we think we make good choices deiendant on ship quality and size, destination, as well as price. Your comments are great. We never lacked for anything entertainment wise while on board. We are not much for enrichment nor lectures however we did interact personally with of the lecturers and his wife and they were lovely knowledgeable and kind. Singers at night as well as band were great. I have made some critical comments on this board but not in a mean spirited way but out of discernment. I am not auditioning to become an influencer lol I think they will succeed and need a few laps around the track for shaking out. The crew wait staff et al we found absolutely tops and even those without cruise experience were wonderful and great. I have been on board and hopefully will be again.. all the best -

Thanks so much, Agreed In January we will sail on Oceania Vista also a new ship and have high hopes. Their food reviews are excellent on the Vista however I think it is impossible to match the high marks on EJ food and food service Be well enjoy Thank you -

Speaking from a lot of experience of both having just gotten off the ship yesterday and ftom over 100 cruises from various lines hp8ng back to 1980 you may find that after you are actually on board the blemishes may still be present however they do not detract from the beauty of the ship experience
