Hi there Andy! I’m a very mature smoking Granny. Could you please find out about the new smoking areas for me? This will be my first Britannia cruise and I’d like to appear less simple by at least knowing where to go instead of having to ask every Tom,Dick and Harry! Thanks in advance, Stacy

Britannia?
Back to the coffee questions. Can you get coffee somewhere on the ship at 6:00 am? Making it in the early morning in the room will be noisy to the others. So not to sound too bitchy at the price of the cruise it would seem the convenience of an early coffee station would be standard. Maybe room service at 5:00am would be the answer!😇 -
Can someone please explain the definition of “doubles” in the drink package? I like 2 shots in my drinks, am I covered?

Another newbie to Britannia here. I’m curious about alcohol, does it mean liquor not just wine? Also is there a spot to get coffee really, really early?
Thank you in advance, Stacy

I use the magnets by the door with the stuff I need to sneak out at the crack of dawn. I don’t want to wake everyone up making noise. As far as the towels, when we get back from the beach I take the beach chair clips and dry the towel and suits on the balcony chairs. When they are dry, I take the clips and towels and put them back in bag and put suit on a magnet next to coverup and other suits.

Royal has decided for this fall it is changing it’s itinerary form San Juan. Instead of St Thomas and St Kitts, they have changed to Trinidad and Tobago. Have done this itinerary for more than 10 years and love the stops. These two ports will be new and I would love to hear where you all went and your final thoughts on these ports. Thanks, QueenieMI

Does anyone know if the windjammer has a bar?

Usually go the last week in October to the second week in November. Spend a week on the island and then a week cruising. Try to do it before the family holiday events. The Jewel is there on the 18th of November BUT the itinerary stinks. I’m really hoping they stick something else in there with the old islands back in it. That’s a lot of monies for those islands to lose for 6 months.

Have been looking everywhere for a ship to do my yearly cruise from Puerto Rico for next year. For some strange reason, there isn’t s Royal ship scheduled from May through the middle of November. ! Am I wrong and if I’m not what would the reason be to leave a port empty for six months?

Usually make plans for each port. Love going to the beaches everywhere. Stayed on board for the first time this passed December. We pulled into St Martin and there were 6 big ships there. We looked at all the people walking down the pier and just smiled and went and ordered a drink!

Love wearing my jewelry when I cruise. Every year I have a quest to find a certain piece. Funny it makes saying no a lot easier when pursuing something special. Sometimes I’ll spin my rings to my palms to hide the stones when I first walk into a store, it helps keep the swarms away!!

When being served it always seems like there were desserts available. No more empty dessert table!

Does anyone know where you can get an antigen test before a cruise in San Juan? We’re flying in a
week early and need a local location for the 48 hour required test. Thanks

Were you free to get off the ship in St Kitts?

Where did you find your information on Royals website? I’m extremely interested in my own tours. It would be great to go on our own, after all the years sailing this route we know what we want. Thanks!

Great news! As of today and royal's website St Kitts is now off the bubble list. Anyone fully vaxxed is allowed to book private tours, shop, etc etc.
This was updated for St Kitts, St Lucia and Barbados. Antigua was removed from the list the other week, so all is slowly getting back to "normal". 🤩

Sailing on the 5th, really interested in the “bubble trips”. After doing the this itinerary for a dozen years I have my favorite sites. The 4 bubble offerings are all new to me. Curious to see what you and your fellow travelers thought of the excursions. Thanks for being our eyes and ears in our future plans.

Was the ship docked at Havensight?

With some islands requiring COVID vaccinations I was wondering how that would affect all of us. I was told that you don’t have to worry. If there are non-vaccinated people on board, the ship won’t be allowed to dock. (Cruise Law) So right now I’m looking over cruises to see with non-docking, which one would actually be worth the time and money. I really don’t want to spin around the ocean for a week. Can we really expect a normal cruise so soon.

Bailey's and Rum Chatta have great creamers for that evening after dinner cup of coffee!

Last year when my Fasination cruise was cancelled I jumped on the Adventure. On Tuesday they sold a 10 drink package. My question is does Carnival have anything like that.

Can anyone tell me the size of the Herradura Reposado Tequila bottle in the fun shops? I know it's pricey but if it's large I'll feel better about the price:tropical-drink:

Sailing for the first time in November from Barbados on the Britannia. Booked with Vacations to go in Texas. Everything is done in dollars and payments are done through them. Very easy to deal with and very helpful with any questions anytime. QueenieMi.
