Cool Cruiser

Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. I have been looking at this and can see its around 25$ per person for a taxi. then i assume $10 dollars for a sun bed each on the TUI excursion page it says £34 per person with a welcome drink and underneath it says Just so you know, the drive to the beach is on winding roads in an open-sided vehicle. There are sunbeds included on the beach, but make sure you bring your swimwear and towels with you. so does anyone know if a sunbed is included for free
  2. i was also surprised to be honest - its was originally going to be £750, then when i checked 2 days ago it was £440 but had gone by the time they could update my booking. checked again this morning as on the tui site i could see that a large balcony room could be booked but it was £650 there to upgrade but when i contacted marella they said it would be £288 so very happy with that. all contact has been made through marella cruises face book page
  3. horary - large balcony room has become available and now booked - went down to £288 so happy with that.
  4. I was originally booked into unallocated level 4/5 outside cabin which are described as having a window or porthole. I have been able to pay an extra £5 for level 8/9 outside cabin as i assume these are more likely to have a window would any outside rooms on levels 8/9 have a porthole?
  5. just went to pay and they have all gone - never mind its something to keep in mind for next time
  6. I am back and fore in my decision as to whether to go for a balcony upgrade. I currently have an outside cabin. Going on voyager on 12th November foor paradise islands 7 day cruise (first time cruise for me and my wife) a few weeks ago it was £750 for the upgrade to a large balcony cabin. Today its down to £450 what's putting me off is that we have 5 port days so not sure what benefit a balcony would bring, I can understand the appeal if it was a scenic cruise ie Norwegian fords , panama canal where the scenery is constantly changing but not sure of the benefit where we have 5 port days. I generally on other holidays always pay for a room upgrade for a balcony view but the upgrade price is generally a lot less ie usually less than £100
  7. I am going on my first cruise on the voyager to the Caribbean - so Barbados, Antigua, st kits etc i currently have annual EU cover so just want to get cover for the cruise with annual you simply select worldwide etc but for single trip do i have to put in each destination who offers decent travel insurance for cruises
  8. me and my wife are looking at taking our first cruise and are looking at this for November. However due to the weather we are having cold feet. For example we enjoy swimming - is that going to be possible in the pools. Can you walk on the upper decks in November or will it be too cold. My wife likes the spa and i see there is access to the thermal spa - how much would a weeks access be ? which restaurants are included on the full board basis - is it just the buffet restaurant. if i buy the premium drinks package then are most drinks included. Is there any point in a balcony room during November?
