  1. It's tough to go to all three locations in such a short amount of time. I would pick one location and spend the day there. My pick would be to spend the day in South Beach. Cab or Uber over to South Beach. Walk on the beach, head over to one of the restaurants for drinks and a wonderful lunch. Hop on a cab for the short ride back to the Port Of Miami.
  2. The is no free shuttle service from Port Everglades to FLL. A cab will cost around fifteen dollars plus tip for the short fifteen minute ride. Free shuttle service from Port Everglades was discontinued approximately four years ago. A few car rental companies provide free service to there off site locations located just outside of Port Everglades. The Alamo location on Eller Drive is closest facility that I'm aware of. You would have to call them directly to see if they still provide the free service.
  3. Once you enter the terminal ask one of the staff members where assistance is available. They will advise you where to wait. Normally cruise staff are assigned to help you get onto the ship and it depends how many employees are assigned to that task.
  4. The downtown Miami rental car companies are operated by Hertz, Avis and Budget. You would have to check with each individual company if free shuttle service is still offered.
  5. Request a price quote from Larry's Limos. A well run company recommended by many Cruise Critic posters including myself. Clean vehicles, knowledgeable drivers and reasonable rates. More expensive than a cab, Uber or Lyft but well worth it.
  6. To my knowledge the three downtown Miami rental locations used by Avis, Budget and Hertz don't provide free shuttle services to the Port Of Miami. A cab, Uber or Lyft should be relatively inexpensive for the short ten minute ride. Free shuttle service from the Miami International Airport Rental Car Center to the Port Of Miami was also discontinued at the beginning of the Covid Pandemic crisis.
  7. I have been on forty five plus cruises since I got hooked on my first Royal Caribbean cruise in May 1983. I'm considering a seven day MSC cruise from Miami in early 2023 but am concerned about MSC's booking process. Is it worth all of the aggravation or should I stick with Royal Caribbean, Carnival, Holland America, NCL, etc.
  8. The Hilton Garden Inn is located in Ridgefield Park New Jersey, not in Ridgefield which is a separate municipality. As for shuttle service to the Manhattan Cruise Terminal I have used Garden State Limo numerous times. There prices are reasonable and they always provide excellent service. The ride from the hotel to the terminal takes approximately thirty minutes.
  9. Plenty of spaces available at the Port Of Miami and no problems regarding thefts from vehicles and damage to them either. The parking garages are safe and secure. Plenty of spaces available after 10:00AM when passengers from previous sailings have already left and on there way home.
  10. I have stayed at Country Inns and Suites a few times and was happy with the accommodations. You can leave your vehicle there for a fee and the price was reasonable. I normally rent a vehicle and drop it off before heading over to Port Canaveral. The hotels sometimes sell out so don't wait too long to make a reservation.
  11. Jaxson's is at the southern end of the mall and Pauli's is at the northern end. Small place with less than ten tables. Nice owner and great food. Only pizza place in my lifetime where the owner asked how I liked the pizza cooked.
  12. If you end up staying at a hotel on Federal Highway in Dania Beach walk over to the Jaxson's strip mall and have lunch or dinner at Paulie's Pizza and Italian Restaurant. A real nice owner who makes great pizza and Italian food. My friend and I ate there two nights in a row in September and really enjoyed the food. The place won an award from WPLG Local 10 News for having no violations in there latest inspection. BYOB for beer and wine too!
  13. Not sure of any hotel that provide free shuttle service from MIA to a hotel. You would have to call around and ask them. As for staying overnight at the airport that would suck and who wants to cruise after sitting in an uncomfortable chair overnight. Contact a hotel in the Blue Moon neighborhood which is close to MIA and stay overnight there. Advise them you will be arriving late so that they don't give away your room to someone else. Have a good nights sleep and wake up refreshed and ready to enjoy your cruise.
  14. Shuttle service from MCO to Port Everglades if you can find it will cost you more than your airline tickets. The cheapest way to travel would be renting two one way car rentals for the two hundred twenty five miles which under normal circumstances will take you approximately four hours. Personally I would drive down the night of your arrival and stay overnight at a hotel in the Fort Lauderdale area. Wake up refreshed and relaxed and ready to start your cruise vacation. On your return rent a vehicle for the trip back to MCO.
  15. I would Uber over to Miami Beach. Walk on the beach, have a few drinks and a nice lunch and then head back to the ship.
  16. The trip from Port Everglades to FLL takes fifteen minutes. You could make a flight for 10:00AM but I would feel more comfortable with a departure 11:00AM or later.
  17. There are no rental facilities directly at the Port Of Miami. If you rent a vehicle from either Avis, Hertz or Budget they have downtown Miami locations that are very close to the port. I'm unsure if they currently provide free shuttle service to their locations. The Miami International Airport Rental Car Center is located directly across from Miami International Airport. Every major rental car company has an office there. Prior to the pandemic they provided free shuttle service from the Port Of Miami to there facility. Since the beginning of the pandemic crisis all free shuttle service was discontinued. I'm unsure when and if free shuttle services return. There are always plenty of cabs available at the Port Of Miami at the conclusion of your cruise.
  18. No hotel in Cape Canaveral offers free parking and shuttle services to Port Canaveral. The price for parking is usually included with your overnight stay or is a separate line item. Shuttle service is also on a fee per person basis. Years ago I stayed with my family at Country Inns and Suites and payed for seven nights parking. We used Uber to get us over to Port Canaveral.
  19. No Miami hotel offers free parking during your cruise. The price is either included when you stay a night before the cruise or is separate charge. Most hotels in the Blue Lagoon section of Miami have park and stay packages. Hotels in downtown Miami near the Port Of Miami charge upwards of thirty dollars a night to leave your vehicle at there locations.
  20. Both ships are the same. The only difference is the Symphony Of The Seas is newer and most likely your price for that sailing will be more expensive than a sailing on Harmony Of The Seas.
  21. The Port Of Miami doesn't have the option to reserve a parking spot at their facility. The garages have plenty of capacity for anyone who wants to leave there vehicle there. If you arrive anytime after 10:00AM passengers from last week's sailing have all ready left and the garages at that time are mostly empty.
  22. Most hotels will provide free transportation from the airport to the hotel. They normally charge a fee for transportation from the hotel to the port. Uber, Lyft or a cab is the easiest way to get to the port.
  23. Publix Supermarket at 3 Miami Central looks like the closest location to the Port Of Miami followed by locations near the Miami River and in Mary Brickell Village.
  24. Any Publix Supermarket has a decent selection of wine available for sale. There are literally one hundred locations all over Florida.
  25. If the room isn't ready the hotel normally has a location near check in where they will store your luggage. If it isn't too busy you shouldn't have to wait too long.
