  2. We had a suite on the 14th floor. More annoying at night than the morning.
  3. No, I will not ditch my son. He is a problem when it comes to the bathroom situation; a rather expensive problem.

  5. I was happy with our room. Another bathroom would have been perfect.
  6. I put in many bids...One was over 4,000. On Christmas day I was notified my bids were not accepted; the day before I was leaving.
  7. 😁 Deck 14 1 bedroom GS. It's the teens!; but they sleep in. 😂 We had a suite on the 14th floor. The morning wasn't wasn't the problem it was the evening.
  8. Update I did hear back from a concierge on Christmas day. Chantelle helped with moving around some bookings and made dinner reservations for CK for us prior to boarding. Special thanks to @newmercies for the appropriate contact information and @RFerrington for urging me to contact them; thank you both again! The concierge urged me have her set a dinner reservation for CK before boarding; she was rather adamant about getting that accomplished.
  9. We just returned from a cruise on Allure. We had every dinner and the majority of our meals at Coastal Kitchen. The offerings were not the same as the MDR. The last formal night we had lobster tails. The first night I had an excellent filet mignon. The chicken that some members of my family ordered was surprisingly good. I think our formal nights were 3 and 6. Day 2 I had the sirloin steak and it was not very good. In the description of Coastal Kitchen it states that it's profile is Mediterranean. I'll have put a little notebook in my purse for our next cruise to keep notes.
  10. It's fine and I certainly won't hold this against anyone. I do want to stay informed, it sounds like they are a wealth of information, and they could be very helpful if an issue arises. Thank you for the warm welcome. Hopefully one day soon I will be able to assist someone else with their questions. 😁

  14. I've been reading through information regarding Allure, suites, and Royal Caribbean international. We are newer to cruising. We have cruised only twice before: Disney and Norwegian; both prior to Covid. This will be our first first cruise on Royal and our first suite. We are booked in a 1 bedroom GS. Reading through prior posts we should've received an email from a concierge?- We haven't. I received an email welcoming us to Sky suite... with ways to contact the concierge once onboard and offers to purchase more stuff; generic information really. This has been a cruise three years in the making with many changes. We are scheduled for 2:00 boarding. 😑
