Cool Cruiser

Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. Check under Hawaii at ncl.com I. The shore excusions section. It always seems to show more than what I can see under my particular cruise
  2. The other passengers should sue these jokers for missing Gambia as the waiting around for them made the ship miss optimum docking time
  3. You should be able to book 120-130 days out. Earlier in the week seems more popular
  4. There are typically 3-4 big school busses. They fill up and take off but at least every half hour if not 15 minutes. There could be a line but it moves fast
  5. I have never had them ask to check both keycards. When they go to pay just hand them the keycard with the benefit and it should be fine
  6. I’m not fluent in Spanish but it looked like they were protesting the split of port money between Federal and local government. The captain came on after and said it was the Mexican admin that shut it down. When we got back there was only one heavily armed soldier and the demonstrators had dispersed
  7. Only crepes I saw were at Cocos for a fee. Ditto for cookies at Starbucks
  8. Depending on the wind there’s the Waterfront on deck 8. Go outside by the District and there are seats and couches. The couches by Maltings and the Cellars are also quiet.
  9. Eric de Leon is the manager and his number is in the cruise info. If something like that happens again call him. It’s his job to make that not happen
  10. The one time I had breakfast in my room, I called the 065 to have the dishes picked up while I was out and they did the room same time
  11. Make sure your make up room light is on. It’s by the bathroom right next to the do not disturb
  12. They hand them out by the pool. On the left as you come from the forward elevators
  13. Turn on the TV and in one of the options will list your room attendant name and phone number. Call them and ask for an ice bucket. They will bring it and fill it daily after that. Wine is usually already in the refrigerator. Also a coffee setup if you want it. Just ask them to do your room first thing as well. We got chocolate one day and cookies the second but not every cabin got them the same days
  14. Unfortunately none of the specialty restaurants were open for lunch. Food Republic reportedly was open for lunch on port days but it was not listed in the daily as open and I never checked it. Taste,Savor, the local and the diner were the options in addition to the buffet
  15. We just got home and that was one of our favorite meals. We didn’t like Food Republic at all.
