Looks like all the packages have gone up. Just went to book an experience package for our upcoming cruise and it's increased significantly. We have had an email offering 20% off of internet and some excursions which must be booked by tomorrow, when I went to book there is also 20% off of the ultimate drinks package. This brings it back down to what it was a few days ago.

Pisa from Livorno is very easy to do yourself, it's just a short bus ride from the City centre, tickets available from the tourist office. All busses and coaches go to the same car park anyway. Genoa, you can go to Portofino or just walk to the City centre. Genoa centre is amazing, head to the Fountain de Ferrari then up the Via de Garibaldi, the whole street is world heritage site due to the amazing Villas. Then stop for ice cream at the harbour on the walk back, best ice cream ever according to my kids. 🙂

Any thread discussing the meaning & history of IPA never ends well in my experience. I am very passionate about beer but will never argue about IPA's, it's just not worth it. 😂 I am accustomed to being disappointed by the beers offered on cruise ships, logistics dictates they can't carry a huge range. I go with low expectations so if I'm pleasantly surprised then all the better.

Agree, it all comes down to personal choice. It would probably be fine for my Wife to be honest, she will happily drink gin & tonic or Bud. But the brandy & whisky options are both poor, and I wouldn't enjoy any of those beers.

Blimey, I didn't expect to be good, but didn't think it would be that bad 😂

Would love to know this as well, although will probably have to upgrade for the whisky anyway 🙂

We go from Lisbon on 15th April on Quest. Was surprised to be allocated a room this far off.

We booked a guaranteed inside cabin for our upcoming cruise and it's just been allocated, it's an oceanview 🙂 Enjoying the Azamara experience already and we're not even on board yet.

How is the availabilty of the drinks on the Ultimate Package? Accept that you problaby haven't had time to try them all yet 🙂

We did 3 days in Miami before our cruise last year, also our first time staying there. We stayed at the Gates Hotel South Beach, lovely hotel just at the end of South Beach so a bit cheaper. Miami is an intersting place, nothing opens before 11am and eating out is generally expensive, but we were in South Beach. Ubers were cheap and reliable. Brickell is another popular area, that's on the mainland and there are no beaches nearby. It really depends what interests you.

We headed to venice terminal, checked in and left luggage, correct. we were then ferried accross to the ship where we boarded via the tender platforms. This was on MSC Sinfonia with a capacity of 2600px. It worked very smoothly. The same ferries were used for disembarkation, we had an excursion in the centre before being bussed to the airport. We were taken straight to St Marks Square from the ship, then ferried back to the terminal after the excursion where we collected our luggage and picked up the coach for the airport. All worked very well.

I suspect the ship could actually dock in Marghera but check in is done in Venice Terminal. This was the arrangement for our MSC cruise last year. It worked very well and it much more convenient for the airport and Venice itself than some of the more out of the way docks.

If I tell my Wife she has to bring her own full set of toiletries I'll have to book another case on the plane.😀 Good to know about the coffee though, another of my Wife's essentials. As for the tea, I'm accustomed to being disappointed so will just expect the worst, although if we're ever on the same cruise I'll be sure to seek out your wife and beg a cup of loose leaf finest from her. 😀

Hi everyone, I have a question about the Experience packages. We are booked on a 7 night cruise out of Lisbon, on my addons page I have the option to to book either the Experience More short voyages or the standard Experience More. There is quite a big price difference between the 2. I'm assuming the short voyage package is applicable as it is giving me the option to book it, would this be correct? Thanks.
