I think this reason is ridiculous, if it is the case. They should not be offering ports that aren’t already in place. Don’t sell me on a port if the spot (or tender) isn’t already arranged.

What other options are there? Going to “prison pocket” it for the week?

LHR is an improvement over Gatwick also.

Standing room only airplane seats? This is a joke, right?

Could be citing the same nonsensical reason they told me that Grenada was cancelled on our current cruise: safety. Or the other version I’ve heard onboard that the slip was $250k/day so they cancelled it for that reason. Or the other other version I’ve heard: to save fuel/help the environment.

Maybe fix your own train wreck post first?

Just copy/paste (or write out) your itinerary and save it. I just email mine to myself. Also not sure what you need a deck map for if you aren’t on the ship.

I don’t know if they are included or not. I think they are $2 each. We typically don’t eat cookies, no idea. Sorry.

Here’s the case

The experience alone is worth it, in my opinion. It’s sort of fun. Besides the chicken is cooked to temp obviously, so if the meat (beef) isn’t to your liking that will be. If it isn’t good, say something. I suspect some of the many rants on here could be avoided by just telling them your issues.

I don’t know the answers to your first and third questions, but today’s Jade Freestyle Daily shows the hours of operation as 6am to 10pm.

Witnessed on the Jade today: 1) woman so drunk coming out of the casino that she fell getting on to a bar stool at Magnum’s (nearly hitting me in a nearby chair). Then called the bartender a MF after he brought her a glass of water instead of her drink. Bartender 0% at fault and handled it very professionally. 2) Alizar: couple each on FaceTime at the table talking to two different people. Phones up full blast and both of them talking very loudly.

I suggest trying it at least once. It’s kind of fun having them bring giant portions of meat to the table. We’ve had it before both on land and sea, and enjoy it.

One of the rudest things I have personally ever seen on a cruise ship happened to me on the Epic last year. We were at the whiskey bar. I went up to order a round of drinks and then bring them back to our seats. I was leaning on an empty bar stool at the end of the bar. Woman came up and pulled the bar stool right from under my arm and knocked me off balance. I didn’t fall over but I could see where some people would. No “excuse me” or “is this taken?” Etc. she just pulled the stool out and sat on it. The guitar player was starting to set up, so I guess she wanted the best seat. There were several other empty bar stools (including like 3 next to the one I was leaning on).

They really pulled the wool over your eyes here.

The Epic has a bizarre curtain situation. If you’re dropping a deuce, everyone else inside is going to know it, and if one of your cabin mates happens to enter, well…they’ll likely know you better than ever before.

We did Italy/Greece (among others) on the Epic last year and loved it. However we were Haven. Those weird balcony suites bathroom arrangements sound awful. So I’d do Escape if you’re non-Haven or Epic Haven.

Older: better deals typically. Plus they tend to have the kinks worked out.

Yeah it turned out pretty good considering the window wasn’t very clear. Had water/mist (and dirt I’m sure) on it. I just held my camera to the glass, right at the table. Makes up for completely missing the eclipse on the drive down yesterday.

Those look like the ones I have. If memory serves, when I bought mine off Amazon, I think the listing said they fit Norwegian (and had pretty much every other line listed too). But then again, I know how to operate a printer and can also use scissors.
