I will have to check my cruise journal. It was a Carnival cruise several years ago. :D

Yeti clones at Sam's Club are 2 for $20 and they work every bit the same.

I am with Tom and Cheryl. We sailed on Reflection and loved it. We are booked on Silhouette in January 2017 and Equinox in October 2017. The "free" perks were great. Drinks, Grats and $$$ OBC. We are on MSC Divina next week. I will report back after the cruise. Booked on Seaside in March 2018 just in case we like MSC :D:D

I have to agree with the OP. I have been on more Carnival cruises overall but not in recent years. I was on Victory in January for a 5 night. No lobster ???
So I sucked it up and paid $$ as did others in my party who paid $$ for a steak in the MDR. Things that used to be "included." I am booked on MSC next week and the price was way better than Carnival for an aft balcony 7 nts.
I have four more in the Que after Divina - none of those on Carnival. So when is my next Carnival cruise ?? Maybe never. My future cruises are all on non-Carnival lines. But I don't think they would care.

I don't see a problem. I was in Miami preparing to depart when a Hurricane came right over Miami. We stayed tied to the pier overnight with two huge tugs pushing us against the pier. Left in the morning in calm seas. No worries :D:D

See you at the Meet and Greet next week on Divina :D:D

We fly in Saturday morning for the 10/08 Divina cruise. I don't see any problems. No worries :D

Pack light. You can always use the self serve laundry or let them do laundry.
Don't take no for an answer. It is your vacation. Enjoy it. Eat breakfast at least once in the dining room. Fresh food and you are waited on. You don't need to take ones for tips. You can get change at Guest Services. Liked it better when it was called Purser's Desk :D Take post it notes so you can leave your room steward a note if you want anything.

I have survived three hurricanes while cruising. There is nothing t fear. On one we went to Cozumel (there were 18 ships...yes 18) to avoid the storm. On another we were delayed departing Miami and remained at the pier while the storm passed over Miami. We couldn't return to Fort Lauderdale on another and went to Tampa where the got us all rooms at hotels. Nothing to fear. We are booked on MSC leaving Miami next weekend and I don't expect any issues :D

OOPS ! 8am to 2 pm on Sunday. :D

My documents from MSC for the October 8th cruise show Divina in Nassau from 8am to 2pm. A wasted stop IMHO. :D
-
We have been on Allure and Eclipse (and two other Solstice Class) and vote Eclipse hands down. JMHO :D
-
148 for Independence BUT only 14 until MSC Divina and 126 until Celebrity Silhouette and then 376 until Celebrity Equinox and 524 until MSC Seaside :D:D Cruise on.

Same on the January "Boys" Cruise. Paid the extra $$ every night for the lobster :D

I seldom get off anymore. Food on board is included and booze if you have a package. Seen way too many Diamonds Internationals and the drinks and food at Senor Frog's / Margaritaville (etc.) have become outrageous. Plus I don't think they put and marg in the rita :D I cruise for the view. MSC Divina in 15 days :D
-
Thanks !!! :D

Does anyone have the MDR breakfast menu for Divina ? Do they have eggs benedict and smoked salmon ? Sailing on October 8th. Thanks
-
I agree with Grady. We take a "Boy's" cruise every year. Many times it was Carnival due to price and length of cruise. We try to stay with 4 or 5 nights.
January 2016 we were on Victory. We found that there are a couple ways to use up the excess when one of our group had several left. The 2017 cruise is on RCCL primarily because of the 15 cap on Carnival. Plus we will get lobster on RCCL. JMHO :D

The countdown continues to my first MSC cruise and Divina's first cruise following the drydock. It will be interesting to find out what was done during the down time. Looking forward to the MSC experience (all positive) We have already booked Seaside for March of 2018 :D

We are on Divina for the October 8th cruise as well. Really looking forward to MSC. We have already booked Seaside for March of 2018. I don't expect any issues related to the drydock. 19 days...Yeah :D:D

You can purchase clear tag holders on Amazon. They come in two sizes, Carnival size and RCCL/Celebrity size. They are inexpensive and can be used over and over. They come with braided steel connectors. Much easier. :D:D

Sailed Disney Wonder. You do move from restaurant to restaurant with your waitstaff but it is very much like a dining room, not like a specialty restaurant. It was ok but didn't do anything for me.
-
Sailing on Oct. 8 also. Received our e-docs from our T/A last week :D
-
I will be sailing on my first MSC cruise in 23 days. Are dress shorts/polo shirt allowed in the MDR for dinner? I sail Celebrity and they are allowed. Anything else I should know ? Thanks :D
Is Divina a sitting duck ?

It took me a little time to find it but.....It was Hurricane Irene, October 15, 1999. We were on Carnival Ecstasy in Miami. Had a balcony (U114). Lucky because back then there were very few balconies.
