Thanks. I guess I was confused. I saw RCL is selling the 7 nights as 2 cruises, one 3 nighter and one 4 nighter. Interesting. I wonder if RCL will change the Singapore itinerary and introduce more longer cruises. I can't imagine there would be so many demands from Singapore and surrounding countries for the same 3 nighters and 4 nighters week after week.

    Jan 2 is a 7 night cruise. Not a 3 and 4 nighter

I can't find the 2nd January 24 nights cruise. I can only find 2 12 nights cruise between Singapore and Tokyo in July 2023. I thought the OP was referring to this cruise. Did I miss anything?

They are doing a 7 night cruise out of Singapore on January 2 to Thailand and  Malaysia.

Just put a hold on  Spectrum of the Seas sailing from Singapore for 24 nights in an extended balcony cabin on deck 9. Any thoughts on the ship and deck 9? I think deck 9 should be ok, with no obstructions, but appreciate comments. TIA

My son just booked this cruise with his friend leaving Jan 2. They booked deck 9 but not sure about location. I am nervous that my 23 year old is going on this trip with a friend.  His friend works with Royal Caribbean and they basically got the cruise free.

I was just wondering about this myself, and come on here to see everyone's opinions, and low and behold, a current thread on it!

My Feb 19 Voyager of the Seas sailing just dropped the prices for the first time since dining came available.

I'm currently debating between the 3 night package and just booking individually....  Cost before gratuity.

My other challenge is, I'm not sure I will bring the kids all 3 times.... Maybe just get them something fast earlier and send them off to the kids club and enjoy some adult dinners... 🙂

Most likely these will be prices for Black Friday too

Thanks for the pictures. Some look like it's a mix of sides. Like, in some, starboard faces the dock, but the pory side faces the actual island. Like the Symphony pictures. Is that right? There is a view on both sides, just a different view. I mention the Symphony just because some of the view is just the ship on the other side versus the actual island. Asking for clarification. Sailing on Symphony in December. Thx.

No all are on starboard side. Right side of ship at dock.

If you have great ports than the destination will be the ports, not the ship.

We just got off the Voyager. Your concerns are valid. The ship needs help it's looking old & for us the entertainment just didn't cut it. So the ship was not the destination for us.

The food was very good. The ports were great as well. So go and enjoy. Set your expectations and you will be good, as it will be a good value.

On RCLs larger ships what do you like about the entertainment?  I want to book on a bigger ship to compare.

There is nothing better than the shows on all oasis class. The aqua shows are amazing. The Broadway shows and the other performance shows are always good the ice-skating shows are phenomenal too. Can’t go wrong with any of the oasis class. Except maybe the oasis we dislike cats

    If you already booked

    What does it matter?

Unless you need people to convince you that you made a good choice?

I can cancel without an issue. Don’t need to know if it’s a good choice, just want to see if people who have taken only oasis class if they still like voyager. If you don’t like my question move on.

  8.      I am diamond but only have been on all oasis class, Anthem and freedom over 10 years ago. Booked Voyager out of Puerto Rico for March, got a super cheap friends and family rate but worried I will hate the old outdated ship and entertainment of the ship. We are going to great ports with no sea days. Can anyone tell me some positives about this old ship?

  9. The key is not worth it at all unless you are solo. People say we are going to buy everyone the internet anyways. You have to understand the more internet you purchase under 1 name the cheaper the internet. I always purchase 4 internet when on sale and sell them to people on my sailings FB. Just got off Harmony. I was able to get 4 under one person at $328 so it came out to $82 for one device. I only kept one and sold other 3.
If you are buying it thinking U r going to get extra time on the flow rider, Rockwall, or zip line, you only get 1 maybe 2 times in the week that give you a time that no one would want to go.
oasis class ships you get on so quick that key makes zero difference. Just returned from the 4th cruise on an oasis cruise just this year. We take tons of cruises living so close to Lauderdale. They called diamond and key together and our friends walked on right after us at 10:40 with a 10:30 check in.
chops lunch is in main dining room. You can buy chops lunch at $20 at chops.
the reserved key seats in theater are no difference then the seats I am at. You still have to arrive early. The only people that get key are people who have never cruised oasis class before. You get off ship quick and early regardless of key. Go to park cafe and get a bite to eat when u get off. Also avoid windjammer and go to Park café or Solarium bistro on the first day for lunch. It’s quiet and easy avoid the key

  10. You have to drink at least 4 alcohol drinks per day to be of value.
you can get refreshment package on sale every other week at $22 a day pp. this includes water, soda, smoothies, mock tails, specialty coffees. So you have to drink $50 a day worth of alcohol on top of all these to be worth it. Some things like beer is $7. You can purchase this refreshment package and buy the alcohol as you go.

I'm surprised so many people are booking cruises without buying travel insurance that covers this exact thing. My travel insurance gives me 100% cash back if me or anyone in my travel party tests positive for covid and can't sail. It cost me under $200 and the peace of mind is worth it.

You don’t need insurance if it’s just one cabin. I am leaving next Sunday. If I test positive we get all our money back. No insurance needed. If my husband test positive we get money back too. So if you have just one cabin you get your money back.
