  4. My February 2024 Value Trips reservation for Hyatt Place Ft. Lauderdale was confirmed last evening. Just for reference it took 6 days. Today, I got another email from Value Trips saying they gave me the wrong confirmation number. I double checked on Hyatt site and new reservation comes up on their website so that's good. On the hotel website I noticed the free airport shuttle wasn't listed, and further clicking around at transportation tab, I found this: Shuttle Services Airport Shuttle Starting April 10, 2023, all airport transportation needs will be referred and booked directly with Avanti Shuttle for a fee. Call Avanti at +1 954 655 1376 to secure all shuttle transportation. I know it isn't far from the airport, but I did consider that a savings perk to have it included the last two times we stayed there. However, for this high season time in February the VT rate of $289 plus tax is definitely a bargain compared to the $413 I am seeing directly on the Hyatt site😵

  6. We stayed at the Riverside a few years back and it was very nice. Plenty to walk around and see, shop and dine in that area. Have a great trip!

  11. While not specifically Delft, I did find some of the pretty vases for sale online in the category of Extras - where you find floral bouquets offered. They sell online several of the empty vases that I saw on Rotterdam, I believe in the Grand Dutch Cafe as table centerpieces. Very cute.
  12. SUCCESS!! Only took about 35 minutes on the phone, which for cyber Monday isn't bad. The gal went to a resolution specialist. The new emailed confirmation is correct. And the crew appreciation shows online also. Glad it is resolved so I could make final payment, which is due today. Thanks everyone.
  13. Mine does not show "Pre-paid Crew Appreciation" in that spot. All it shows is my cancellation protection. The other promotional credits are correct. Thanks for showing me where to look anyway. 👍 I fear I have to call back today, as final payment just happens to also be today, and I don't want to pay until this is cleared up. Has anyone had any luck with CHAT or is phone call better with HAL?
  14. Directly with HAL. Originally I booked this cruise via computer many months ago. Yesterday, I called to reprice for lower fare. After one hour wait (30 minutes on hold and 30 minutes with agent checking with supervisor) I was cut off with no call back. UGH I called again, and waited on hold only about 20 minutes to totally cancel cruise because it was refundable deposit, and just outside of final payment. Ate dinner, waited for cancel email and for cabin to reappear on website as available. I then booked a new reservation, with new res number, showing cyber sale on screen with crew appreciation included. So no TA to intervene here 😒
  15. Just booked under the cyber Monday sail with the "free prepaid Crew appreciation" included. It showed it on the computer screen and I took a photo, but it doesn't show up on the booking confirmation that was emailed to me. Where should I see that? On the confirmation it shows the HIA features included, but not the crew appreciation. Just would like to see it in writing on the confirmation as otherwise I have no proof.
  16. OP here - Thanks for this suggestion! It worked in about 10 minutes on chat. Price savings was less, and as expected I lost $100 obc, which is not offered on the current sale. But still good at about $400 savings. 👍 Thanks everyone.
  17. I don't want to lose the cabin I have, and there are very few left in that category. Don't know how quick it would reappear in the system and could get snatched up. I could, but it's a gamble. 🤔
  18. So, I just spent 45 minutes on the phone unsuccessfully, with the call center rep trying to reprice a September 2024 cruise. Princess dot com shows the Black Friday price for my category IB would be $624 cheaper. The gal put me on hold 6 times and came back and said that there are no cabins in my category IB on deck 9, so it would now only be a guarantee. But I see there are other IB cabins available on other decks. Does Princess price by category, such as IB or does it also have to be on the exact same deck as your current booking? I told her not to change anything and ended the call because she said the supervisor was not available. Unfortunately, I don't have this with a travel agent who could deal with this. PS: I see it says for new bookings only, but I have done this before a long while back and hear others being able to reprice for lower fare. This is 10 months out with a refundable deposit currently. Thanks for any advice.
