I think it's a little late. I'm waiting to see if they will give me an extension.

8. All CruiseNext Deposits are valid for new reservations made within 4 years from the date of purchase, and become null and void after expiration. Failure to redeem and sail within 4 years will result in forfeiture CruiseNext Deposit.

Some have reported calling and getting extensions.
Thank you, I did search for that link but couldn't find it.
Thanks all! Looks like I'm SOOL.....

I have two vouchers that will expire at the end of the month. Do I have to sail by then or just book by then?
-
LOL on this upgrade. My only upgrade option was Haven so placed a bid on all, currently only 7 two bedroom, yesterday there was 8, and deluxe owner suite. My chances are NIL. Nope to outright book the 2 bedroom would be almost 10K, that's another cruise, like Alaska next summer. I doubt with this limited inventory the price will drop.
It's nice to dream :)
On our recent cruise I bid on a suite from a balcony on the low end of the dial. At the end there were only 3 of these suites left and they did accept my low bid. You just never know! Keeping my fingers crossed for you!!

I had a friend on the Dawn who used it to look up the entertainment (karaoke, games, shows, etc). No sure I'd pay $10 just for that. I just carried around the daily schedule.

Again, people blaming inanimate objects for a problem. Anything not thrown into the proper receptacle when finished using it will cause the problem. The human being is the problem, not the straw.
Agree 110%!

Is it big enough for a lounger?

Is there that much of a difference in that angled balcony than a regular balcony in the same category?
-
This has been the standard offer for the past 3ish years. Basically commits you to taking 4 cruises in the next 4 years (or 2 cruises booked 6 mos+ in advance).
Never thought to ask if I can apply it to a booked cruise in November. Do you know?
-
The deal you got is exactly the same as the deal they have always offered. It is just worded a different way.
Deal 1 - Buy 4 vouchers for $1,000 and get $500 OBC that gets used against the cost of the vouchers. Net cost to you is $500 for $1,000 of vouchers.
Deal 2 - Buy 2 vouchers for $500 and get 2 vouchers free with a value of $500. Net cost to you is $500 for $1,000 of vouchers.
Both are exactly the same. If the new deal that NCL are offering you is worth it then the old deal is as well.
I had not looked into the next cruise recently, so this was new to me. I had only known of the spend $250 and get $100 OBC for the cruise I was on.
-
I actually just got off the Dawn and purchased 4 next cruise certificates. Four $250 certificates for $500. Buy two, get two free. I had never heard of this before. I explained I wasn't interested in any certificate that had an OBC value as I don't use it and this was an option that I couldn't pass up.

Totally understandable ..these straws hurt the sea life...get over your self people...is it to much trouble to bring a straw you can re use...you people are a disgrace to mankind!
Oh my!!!:'):') FYI... paper straws, get over it.
-
Did you lower the DSC by the cost of the straws you had to purchase? No straws is definitely a customer service issue that NCL is causing themselves.;p;p;p
LOL.... We didn't purchase them, they came with our food/drink order at a sub shop!! (just took a few extra)
-
On the Dawn last week you could not get a straw even if you asked. We therefore got some at a store and brought them on board. Really, you can't drink a frozen drink without a straw!

Two weeks ago my friend hit $1,000 TWICE on the bar top poker.

I’m hoping to get information about cabin upgrade bidding on The Dawn. I believe it’s new and this is our first cruise 🚢 in a few years. We are cruising on August 10th back to our favorite port Bermuda 🤗🤗 for my 50th Birthday and my DD’s 20th 🎂 Thanks and Happy Cruising
We recently did this cruise. I booked a regular balcony and bid to upgrade to an SJ, SF and SD. Our SJ bid was accepted for $370pp. My friend on the same cruise bid $550pp for an SJ and her bid was also accepted. I just picked a price which was about half of what it would have been just to upgrade on my own. It was an exciting wait. I was checking my bids on Monday (Friday sail date), two said expired and the SJ said processing. So the bid was accepted on a Monday, 4 days prior. Happy Birthday and good luck!

12030? I was in that once and loved it. I was just on the Gem in the haven and it was incredible My cruise next week is booked in an inside. Hoping for a balcony.

I’m wondering about the difference in the accessible vs regular SJ which we’ve had. I don’t care about a tub, just bathroom storage! More space is always a plus! We also had a 2 bedroom on the Gem when it was “the Courtyard”. We had that due to an up sell call. I don’t think I’d ever book one though. Hope you get your balcony!

Is that on the Dawn? I am sailing next Friday!! There is still hope!! LOL
Have a great cruise!!

Yes it is! I had gone in to up my bids a little bit and two said expired and the other said processing. So I anxiously waited to see what actual cabin I was assigned. We had a regular balcony and I bid on an SJ, SF and SD. Got an accessible SJ. Saved about $700. Won with a poor bid of $370pp.

Also, how close to sailing are you notified if accepted (or denied)? Thanks
Notified on Monday for this Friday's sailing that my bid was accepted.

We were on the island of Dominica when Montserrat was erupting. The ash was falling like it was flurrying. The locals wore bandana's over their nose and mouth. The ship was covered in ash. What a mess!

Will I have updated edocs sent to me if I'm upgraded? I received an email that my edocs already.
I got an email with my updated docs after i had been told my bid was accepted.

Update: Been on the phone with NCL now for one hour.
Agent helping me cannot get Upgrade Advantage department to answer the phone. Supervisor is helping agent as well. Agent said she has never heard of this happening before.
I also found one of the emails received when bids were placed - Doing the right click thing with Firefox, it states cabin was upgraded.
Everything is still the same with the reservation - same oceanview cabin.
Supervisor and agent have both said now for me to send an email reply to the address from where the upgrade email came from.
It says upgraded, but has your CC been charged for the second cabin? Good luck!!

In Kona, do not rent from the airport. You will pay to take a taxi both ways (approximately $20 each way), and about a 20-30 minute drive. There is a hotel right across from the port, King Kamehameha. They rent cars. A little more expensive but with the taxi fee and valuable time it’s worth it. This was 2 years ago so definitely look it up.

I just saw on the news that the VNP is closed due to the volcano.
A very basic question

You could use a beach bag to put it all in! So thoughtful of you! You could always add a dirty laundry bag if you haven't already thought of it. (I have a collapsible one) but also have used a 13gal plastic trash bag. Wander around the dollar store, you may see things you never thought of.
