  1. The test booking did show 75% off. My cruises this winter were booked with no promo like those I was looking at in 2025 and the cost per day was substantially higher.
  2. We are booked this January/February on Connie 3 cruises B2B. Cost per day about $450. Per day. Looked at Equinox 2025 same months price was $550. If you want deposit refundable, add over $918 additional brings the sale price to a around $650. Per day. What a deal!!!!!!. This was for a standard balcony cabin with drinks, Wi Fi ,and Tips for now. We are Elite.
  3. Little has been written on Cruisetours. We were just on a Princess Alaska cruise tour. 10 days land and 7 days sea. We had been on an Alaska Cruise 30 years ago but wanted to do the interior. We chose the 10 day connoisseur cruise tour. We didn't want to think price when we looked at a menu. We received appetizer, main course and desert. At all 5 lodges the food was great, with great service. Our tour guide arranged times for our dinners when traveling to the next lodge. Time and companions our choice. We chose to share our table the first night and over the 5 lodges we had dinner with 5 different couples on our tour. It was great. Since we stayed in each lodge 2 nights, the 2nd night was up to us. My spouse has some mobility issues and our tour guide made sure that in lodges with no elevators our rooms were on the first floor and convenient to the main lodge. We found all the lodges clean, comfortable with excellent service. Rooms were basic. This is a lodge not a resort. The features are where we are, not the Lodge. We had great weather the whole 10 days which I am sure skews my review. In our opinion the cruisetour was much more rewarding than the cruise. We cruise Alaska over 25 years ago. Juneau, Ketchikan are similar to the Carribean ports of call. Not Alaska. Diamonds International etc. We and many of our cruise passengers who had been to Alaska before were disappointed in the changes.
  4. Thanks, Why couldn't the Medsllion desk tell me that.
  5. Just off the Majestic Alaska cruise. The ap worked fine until we boarded the ship. I could open the ap but could not scroll for selection. Had the same problem with my wife's phone. We asked for help but the answer was our phone was too slow.
  6. Ok with me for different people every night. I prefer the samd wait staff but can live with changes every night. I just want shared seating after 6;20.
  7. We have reservations in the main dining room for 7:20. We like to share but that is not available to reserve. On our last cruise we had reservations at 6:20 the last time where you could book sharing. Anyone have experience getting a shared table at a later dining time?
  8. If everyone shows up at 10:30 there will be a problem.
  9. I agree. We are not big users of the casino but with the smoke we rarely went to the casino. It is very small which doesn't help.
  10. Not that fond of Princess Cays. Water as you enter very rocky, big rocks. Once in up to you waist it is OK . Had to look for a path so we could enter. We are old so stability is an issue.
  11. I booked shared table 6:40 for the 20 days of our cruise. Twice they changed us to a different time and different MDR. Not a big deal but when I asked I was told did you book with the Maitre d no we didn't. I guess the only guarantee is the Maitre d.
  12. I agree, I am one. We occasionally go to the casino on cruises but not this time. Couldn't take the smoke
  13. You may be right but that was what we were told at the Cruise cCritic get together on the Enchanted Princess.
  14. Unfortunately the smokers in the casino spend a lot of money and money talks.
  15. There can be a reason you use a TA. If you have problems a good TA will resolve and I do not have to deal with it.
  16. A number of evenings they had a seafood bowl, shrimp scallops, clams and a white fish. Light but good. I also like their lamb shank and the rack of lamb was good. It was on the menue 2 times over 20 days.
  17. It is my understanding that the first night go to the Maitre d and make the request. Should not be a problem. Cannot be done beforehand.
  18. We were told that the Favorite are available every night even though they do not appear on the menu every night. Just ask. We were just on the Enchanted for 20 days.
  19. I believe that Tips were/are for 1 to 1 service. Employers can monitor the quality of food, the cleanliness of the sheets and towels but it is more difficult to monitor the performance of 1 to 1 service though it can be done. I do not believe tips were/are for distribution to everyone in the chain even though they contribute to 1 to 1 service. The employer has the responsibility to fairly compensate the cooks, janitors, dishwashers etc.
  20. We were told by officers that that is exactly what they are going to do.
  21. Just off Enchanted. We were told they are going to out doors at the entrance of the casino to keep smoke in and no smoke going into the Piazza
  22. Probably the Capri but keep in mind at prime times 5:30 to 7:00 I would estimate less than 70% of the tables were being used. Just do not have enough servers for a full dining room. Empty tables but people were still turned away at 6:30 if they didn't have a reservation.
  23. Enchanted Princess M510 Nice cabin , balcony cabins on Royal class are small. Below pool deck but below pizza place. Ok, little nooce from above. Close to elevators. Bathroom small, shower Ok, but not much room overall. Storage fine.
