So cute, does she eat all those veggies and is that a peanut butter and jelly sandwich???

It looks like a pb&j.  Her family are big into eating plenty of fruit and veggies. I think it is funny when they are here and one of the kids ask if they can have a snack.  When we say yes, they go grab a cup of apple sauce or peaches! They are being raised to  be healthy eaters!

Love the color Larry. It looks similar to out living room color which is a Sherwin Williams color. It looks lighter in this picture but we love it.

As for Hilton Head,  I loved it there!  Lots to do. Have you been there?  Looking forward to pics.  Tell our friend I said hi.  He seems like a great person.

As for your concerns, here is what helps me.

Be quick to listen, slow to speak, slow to anger.   This has kept me from playing monopoly a few times.  Arguing rarely changes anything so why waste time.

Consider renting a bike while there.  We loved riding bikes there.  Easy to get around.  Also if a topic comes up and you want to avoid it say, Be back in awhile and go jump on the bike!  Try to enjoy the 5 days.  Lots to see and enjoy.

    Have a safe trip!

  3. Our deck garden is doing good.  Sharon and family put together 5 grow bags for me to enjoy on the deck!

We held back 7 plants in case any failed that we planted almost 3 weeks ago.

With all looking good we put the 7 extra in grow bags. 2 will go to each of the 3 DDs and 1 to a friend.

Sharon is not letting the Rollator go to waste!  😆

I do one every morning. Just do a screenshot from the newspaper on my iPad, and pencil it in. They get progressively harder, later in the week.

I started out doing newspaper and than I had an app.

Speaking of iPad,  I have been considering getting a new iPad Pro.  My old one was the 1st generation iPad Pro.  I was just about to pull the trigger last week and then noticed they were about to offer a new one.  It's supposed to be announced May 7th.

I have been enjoying my latest MacBook pro however I am not using Photoshop much.   The iPad pro is much lighter and will have the new M3 chip.  I will give the MacBook pro to my DD who's laptop needs replaced.

I agree with everything said about Hunter and was rooting for him.  I don't however think that he was strategic enough for Survivor.  Combine that with how dominant he was in challenges, and I didn't think he'd survive very long.

If I was in his shoes at Tribal, I may also have hung on to the idol.  It seemed obvious that everyone was voting for Q, even knowing that you can't trust what you hear. He knew that he was vulnerable and was trying to stretch having the idol a few more days.  If he could then get immunity again, the idol would last even longer.  You could see how he really struggled with playing the idol or keeping it in his pocket.  He took a risk though and got burned.  Tiff did the same thing.  She swore that she would play her idol to get the target off her back but in the end, decided to keep it a while longer.  It worked for her.

I was shocked Hunter didn’t use his idol , you could see him fidget with it just before the vote.

During tribal you could see him going back and forth.  I kept saying play it, play it!  Don't keep it!  I wanted him to stay.  He had a high chance to win another challenge and a chance to find the idol again when they re-hide it.

I thought it was smart for the others to blindside him.  If he would of made it to the end he would of easily won. Also the longer the game goes the harder it gets to get someone like him off.

It is 32° this morning, and we have frost.  Hope everyone had their plants covered last night.   I think last night was our last freeze warning for a while.

We had frost concerns here a few days ago.  It dropped to 36⁰. Forcast shows no more below 50⁰ Sharon got the plants covered.

Kenzie helped her clean it up.

They made fun out of it.

I checked the plants yesterday and they are doing great.

Second this week our power has gone out on a beautiful day. Don’t know if everyone turned on their AC at the same time but this is getting ridiculous. And our lines are all underground.

The lines in our neighborhood are underground too.  There has been times when our lights have gone out do to the above ground lines on the main road that passes our neighborhood.

  8. Wednesday was the anniversary of my official diagnosis. Time sure does fly!  Physically things have changed a lot.  I am not going list those changes.  I think the one thing that has changed for the better is my love of life and those around me!  I give thanks for each new day!  So much love shown to me and my family.  An example of how we have been blessed, remember me telling about our new neighbor, on her own, came over and shoveled the snow off our driveway?  Well, yesterday she surprised us with a great homemade strawberry pie!  We are still having people bringing us meals each week to help ease the burden off Sharon and to bring a smile to our face.  And what I love the most is so often I still hear someone add their name to the long list from around the world of those that are thinking and praying for us.  So special!

  9. Just visited the garden.  I cut back this year.  30 tomato plants in beds, 8 in grow bags of which I am keeping 5 on our deck.  The plants look great.  Only 1 looks like it should be better but I have 10 backup plants to replace if needed.

Forcast shows temperature in the low 80s for several days!

    Here are flowers coming out!

Frameless vs framed glass shower in bathrooms?  What is your preference?

DH is insisting on frameless due to aesthetics.

I am against them because in his bathroom he has to put the bath mat outside every day to dry because the water leaks out of the gaps after each shower.

We are going to renovate our main bathroom (which currently has a framed glass shower) and we are at a stalemate over this….

You can't get anymore frameless than ours.  It sure is a blessing to be able roll in.  We don't use a floor mat.  When the room was renovated the floor was slightly lowered near the shower to drain.

    Hello, Everyone!

We have been infrequent posters but have enjoyed following different topics, such as Helen and Marty's current spectacular trip! Along that vein I would like to do the same. I would love to do a "Live Trip Report" but know I could not keep up, so I will do a semi-live here, if that is okay? We are leaving Saturday morning (early) flying to Las Vegas to help break up our super long trip to Hawaii! Yes, we going to try for a "do-over" of our Aulani and Pacific Crossing to Vancouver which was a "dizaster" last year, lol! Pictures to follow! If it would be too messy for the thread I will do a regular trip report...

Thankful y'all are able to do it again!  I really enjoyed meeting you on the Hawaii cruise.   You surely impressed me with the strength you showed while dealing with what you were going through.

I know all here would love you sharing your experience.   Looking forward to the pics!

I hope all goes smooth this time!
