Thanks! The room is considered an accessible OVB but is the size of a JS. So thankful Ken was able to find it for no extra cost! Last October, while on Voyager, Ken found an accessible OVB for us and our cruise friends got a JS. Our accessible and their JS was the same size. The one we are in on Icon now seems more open than Voyager.

That is what I thought I heard the waiter say tonight. So I guess I heard correctly. Tonight's Maine lobster 🦞 was great. We will do it again on Day 6.

This is the first time in along time we forgot to ask for one the first day. Finally got a Peach Daiquiri! At Basecamp bar! Another larger glass than normal.

Not sure if you know but you can view what's going on by pulling us up on the RC app. To do this open your app, go to top middle and click the calendar. Scroll to the bottom and click Change ship/Dates. When this page comes up scroll to the bottom and click Browse our ships. Next page, Pick Icon then when it pops up pick our date Jan 27 - Feb 3 2024. While hanging over the balcony taking this pic I remembered a shark's two most favorite words. Man overboard! They hear it mostly in the Red Sea! I think we are in a race with Norwegian.

I don't think many knew it was happening. It may of been on the app but not sure. We made it there at the end of it. We met our friends there.

But the Miami Vice was heavier! Oh the adjustments we have to make! 😆 Like adjusting to the Windjammer lunch yesterday! 😋

It depends on what you are using and the experience you have with using an electric wheelchair. While on Voyager last October I had a Jiffy. This time I am renting a Whill. They both do impressive 360⁰ turns. The whill is real tight. I would not try a turn around with a scooter or regular wheelchair. So far no stink eyes. Very polite and friendly people.

Yesterday I remember elevator doors opening one time and there was really no room for anyone. That was within the 1st hour of boarding so busy at that time as usual. The elevator experience has been nice. We used the elevators several times and each time I entered I was able to spin the chair around before taking off. There were a few times after dinner we entered the elevator and we were the only ones in. The wheelchair I rented is a Whill. The turning radius is nice and tight. Thanks for the suggestion @brillohead Debbi.

We are on Icon Deck 12. No problem here. In fact are group was talking about how smooth it has been so far. First thing I noticed in the room is the RC hard bed is missing. The bed feels nice. The ships move quicker at night and vibration sometimes is felt. Not yet for us.

One more thing. Someone asked what happens when you push the wheelchair button at the elevator. I didn't think it was doing anything the first couple times but then I figured it out. You push it and then pick your deck. It assigns an elevator. When you go to that elevator there will be a soft bell melody playing. That's about it.

Random pics before going to sleep. 1st drink Miami Vice because there was no peach daiquiri. Glass seemed bigger. Coke cans smaller! WJ dinner just wasn't the same but the grilled Lamb was good. You can get lost looking up at the slides. I seem to notice these folks all around the ship.

We got here at 11am and did not have to wait in line for a regular room. Walked into the lobby and went to the right for the elevator. When we got up it was not busy. And we went down the ramp to the ship.

You sure are getting around the ship quickly!

So I take it my jokes are apparent that they are dad jokes. While telling my jokes from my wheelchair I have had a couple people say, you are so funny! You should become a stand up comedian! I laughed and said, that's good. Maybe not a stand up comedian but maybe a roll up comedian! 😆

And the finish. BTW, the Filet mignon was sooooo good!
