  1. We were informed that they did not have Linguica, a pork sausage, to serve. I wasn't planning to eat it. We were one of the 1st to dine this night. The first they started with was Picanha. They describe it as.... Our signature cut of beef, the prime cut of top sirloin. Obviously they did not start us on the lowest grade of food. It was really good. Next, Cordeiro which was grilled Lamb chops. I planned not to have it but after Keith tried it I did too. I am glad I did. Beef Tenderloin. My favorite. It was so tender and great taste. Costela or beef ribs. I was not a fan. Frango, chicken breast wrapped in bacon. Keith liked it, I thought the chicken was to dry. They served a bottom cut of sirloin. I skipped it for another cut of beef tenderloin. They also served Lombo, pork loin, which I skipped. Keith said it was real good. We had a great experience there and would do it again.
  2. Well @bobmacliberty I fell for it. I love olives and grilled asparagus. 😆 But with all the meat coming, how did I fall for salami? 🤔 I thought the real scam was these extras they brought out before with our plate. I don't remember anymore eating off it. Time to start...
  3. Thanks. We just got back from Allureast night and we enjoyed. It took us an hour and a half. Funny thing, I am loading pics and our experience at Samba Grill right now on my Live review.
  4. Samba Grill This was are first time to try the Samba Grill. We liked it enough that I believe we will go again in January. Things were different than what I have read. Some made it sound like it was outside and it sometimes was humid. Others said they start of with the worse meat and save the best for last. Not our experience. The Samba Grill takes place at the Solarium inside and it was not humid. Not ever eaten there I was confused over the silverware. I did not know what the tong was for. You use it to hold the meat up while they slice it off for you.
  5. We liked it enough to go watch it again on the last night. Something to do. 20221022_191859.mp4
  6. The part that got boring to me is between the actual skating. This guy would take a long time skating around to get someone to push a button to start the show. We were in the 1st row on the right side so he picked out Sharon once. Now this is with all ice shows. Hard for me to watch them swing the skater around and let the head drop toward the ice.
  7. Ice Skating. I thought the ice skating ⛸️ show had some good but agree that RC has better. The was at night after Curacao.
  8. That is good to hear. Although Starlink never came back on, I thought the internet was good most of the time. We streamed a college football game on the ESPN app and later watched a grandchild's soccer game over FaceTime. If the wifi does act up, try turning off your wifi and then turn it back on. I had to do that once and it fixed it. Good to here your on now. Feel free to share anything you want. If you don't mind let us know if they get Starlink going before you get off. We will be cruising Allure again in January. Have a great cruise!
  9. Last May Sharon found a duck on Ovation. She decided to hide the duck she found on Allure. She hid it here.
  10. I still have more to share. It will not be in order. It was raining the morning of the last day but we quickly started avoiding the clouds. Carnival Horizon was trying to get out of the rain too so they kept moving closer to us. I love pics of clouds.
  11. We made it home last night. Flights seem to be getting better. We are visiting Finnley right now. Kensie's gang is coming over this afternoon. We were missing the kids.
  12. I think 🤔 I found out why she didn't show up, ice cream. Mom thought she bought her a kids size ice cream but it was a small. Before she realized, she had eaten it all. 😇
  13. Thanks Greg. We made it home safe. Are you home yet? Looking back, will you drive or fly to Galveston? I have a lot of threads to catch up on. Many of us were doing Lives. I still have the Samba Grill to post about and final thoughts.
  14. I enjoyed meeting you too and thanks for stopping by again. I am curious, how did you know it was me so quick, was it the accent? And to think I didn't call the Hawgs for you. 😂 I am surprised how people pick up on my accent. Doesn't seem strong to me. Y'all have a great day!
  15. We didn't have a direct flight. We flew from fll to Atlanta. Had about a 3 hour layover and then flew from Atlanta to Memphis. From Memphis we drove home. Takes about 2 hrs 15 minutes. We just got home safely! We should of had Kenzie come pick us up
  16. I know! I have never ever seen that many large ones. There were a whole lot more than what is in the pics.
  17. Solo and I ate lunch at Izumi the first day. When we got back on board at Aruba the whole gang went for Dinner. We started off with some Pork Gyoza Dumpings.... And some Shrimp & Vegetable Tempura. Sharon doesn't do sushi so she likes the Beef Teriyaki. As you know I like trying something new so I tried a Seared Tuna Tataki Roll... I can now say I tried it. We had a Champagne Lobster 🦞 in Yuzu wrap roll... For dessert they tried Crispy Sesame Balls, which they all thought were gross, and Assorted Mochi ice cream which they liked.... I finally just played it safe.
  18. To finish Aruba. Hope I didn't already post. We came to an area that had a bunch of shells washed up on shore. They were everywhere. Here is a pic of an area we walked on. Probably wouldn't of been bad with shoes on. Also learned that one should be careful when trying to get a close up pic of cactus. A look back to the path we were walking..... Before we got back to the sand.
