While I agree that it’s a good idea to print the set sails (we don’t but I do screenshot them)

we breeze right through with my my set sail passes in my Apple wallet on my phone.

But I have seen others scrolling the phone 😁

I agree!!  We also keep ours in our Apple wallet too.  We always seem to get in line behind a family with multiple members and only one person has all their Set Sail passes…..😂😂😂

OK, we got in with our new passwords, and now it's time to check the set sail pass.

Mrs. Caver can only view and print our daughter's set sail pass when she clicks on hers. Same when she clicks on mine.

Yours truly can see my own set sail, but when I try to see Mrs. Caver's or our daughter's,  they both appear as me. My set sail for all three of us, in other words.

OK, so daughter's shows all three correctly.

And wife is the one who booked all three of us, and the cabin is in her name.

When we get to the terminal, we can hand them all three phones and shuffle them under a set of Red Solo Cups. See if we get on the ship.

To me it’s easier to see/pr t my Set Sail pass and luggage tags from the website.

We always print our Set Sail pass and breeze right through check in while others are still scrolling on their phones…😎😎

Perfect example of RCL talking out of their a$$... She told me noon 🙄 I even asked to confirm that it wasn't midnight.

And that time is for the time zone of the port you are sailing from so if you live in an earlier time zone you won’t have to wait until midnight…😁😁

We would like to spend the day at a beach resort in Cozumel for the day. We are in our 70,s so we would prefer not being around a lot of children. Looking for a beach  resort that offers buffet, drinks, transportation back & forth from the cruise port. Very safe conditions.

I read reviews on Playa Mia Resort, they were not great. Would like more information on other resorts.

we are the same age and we prefer Nachi Cocom.  They only take 130 people so usually very nice and quiet.  They have a nice pool, good food, good service and is very clean.

they do not provide transportation but it is about a 15min taxi ride from the port…

I have a 12:00 arrival time. Are they strict about not arriving early? We have a mini suite, so our only perk is priority boarding. Also, will we be able to drop our bags off in a mini suite or do we have to wait until all rooms are ready? Thanks

you can board early because you are in a suite.

you cannot access your room until 1pm

We are thinking about using either Park Port Canaveral or Port Canaveral Parking.  Has anyone used either one recently?

Right now Park Port Canaveral is having a 50% off sale when using code FLASH! (be sure to include the exclamation point).  We have used them several times with no issues..

I was looking at their website because I have an upcoming cruise at Port Canaveral. I don't like the way they count days. My cruise begins on a Monday and ends on a Friday. That's a 4 night cruise and parking at the port would charge 4 days at whatever rate. This offsite lot wants to charge for 5 days even though it's just 4 24-hour periods/4 nights. And then they add a $7.50 Port Canaveral entry fee and sales tax. Yes, it's still cheaper than parking at the Port but not as much as it should be if they counted days the same way.

I think I'll just park at the port.

parking at Port Canaveral is charged the same way.

You are charged for the day you enter AND the day you leave.  So for a 4 night cruise you will be paying for 5 days.  And they they started charging extra taxes and fees.  A 7 night cruise used to cost me $136 (8 days x $17).  Now the total is almost $150!!!

    Been this way for years….

We put each dress item in its own dry cleaning bag.  I’ve saved them for years for this purpose but I think if you went to a dry cleaners they’d sell you some.  We use a “cruiser suitcase” where the clothes stay on the hangers and fold in the middle.  We don’t have to send anything out. Steam in the shower helps if needed.  Otherwise we go wrinkled.

this is exactly what I do and I never have any wrinkles!!!

We are back from a great cruise on the Adventure. Was home 3 days when the Wife came down with a very bad cough and Cold symptoms.  Self test said Covid but who knows. Just a reminder to wash hands pre, during and past cruise ...we want everyone safe and healthy

I came home with covid from my cruise in January.  My sisters, who are both vaccinated and boosted, came down with it from a church event so sadly it is every where.

I gave covid 2yrs of my life and will not give it anymore.  Especially for something that seems to be no more than a bad sinus infection.

I hope your wife feels better soon and that this will not change your love of cruising…

  10. We always get trip insurance (never through the cruise line) and we book mostly casino cruises.

For the trip amount we put in zero since all that we paid is fully refundable.  That way we are covered for medical and medical evacuations which is our main concern.

Being able to list the trip cost as zero greatly reduces our premium.  We are in our 70’s and we’re able to get $250,000 in medical and $500,000 in medical evac (for primary coverage and not secondary) for $127 for a 7 day cruise….

We get our quotes and purchase our policies through www.insuremytrip.com

    Hi

we are taking our grandkids on The Mariner of the Sea next month.  I’m hoping that someone can tell me how strict the dress code is in the main dining for kids.  My grandsons are 9 & 12.  Will they be able to wear shorts & sneakers at dinner.  Or will we need to pack dress pants & shirts.

they will be perfectly fine in shorts and sneakers.
