Honestly 5:15 is a bit early for me…. So waiting till 5:30 is not a problem for me at all.
really kind of hoping the new middle dining time comes to Liberty before this summer…
Not sure which ship you are going on, but as a previous poster said there was a sign stating the dining room would close after a certain time. Ours was about 5:20 that the doors were closed… -

It does. Thanks. I have no need to gather outside the door. I’d rather take my time, enjoy my drink, and then just walk right to my table.
We were also on the Adventure and the dining room opened at 5pm. We found if we waited until 5-10min after we could walk right in with no crowds…- 1

I know this is unlikely, but someone told me that some hotels do this?
if you need a hotel with shuttle both to and from the airport and port check into GoPort. They have packages that include all of this and they get very positive reviews…. -

Be sure you put the ship name and date of sailing in the title line -

Hi All - looking for recommendations on best company to arrange MCO airport transfer to/from Port Canaveral area hotel. Was just going to Uber it, but thought I should at least check other options to compare. Will be on the April 6 Mardi Gras! TIA!
I am posting a list of the popular shuttles for the area……but if you are looking for a complete package for airport shuttle/hotel/cruise port/back to the airport then I recommend you check out GoPort -
I was told the area is okay in the daytime but to be very careful at night.
we elected not to stay there…

Also check out Park Port Canaveral….about a mile from the port with a nice paved and fenced parking lot with continuous shuttles

Her on board networking should be upgraded by now to provide a more reliable service. The Starlink internet connection to the ship is the same fleet wide.
All I can relate is our personal experience on the Jewel vs our cruises on the Wonder, Mariner and the Adventure. The WiFi on the Jewel was absolutely nowhere near the level we had on the other ships….not sure why….

Is there a covered walkway from the parking garage at Terminal 10 that you can walk to the luggage drop off area (in case of rain)?
Are there any issues with dropping off your luggage first, and then going back around to park in the parking garage?
Thank you for any tips or information!
we have sailed out of several of the terminals at Canaveral (not 10) but they all are set up the same. You drive under the parking deck, drop off your luggage with the porters and then go up the ramp and park. There are elevators that take you down where you find the terminal doors.

Just a warning…on.our last cruise on the Jewel the internet was not good and constantly going in and out all day, every day. It’s an older ship and it’s system isn’t anywhere near the newer ships….

Utopia, so an Oasis class ship. So I guess getting an Uber or Lyft may be my best bet in getting to the airport on time. Thank you for this!
Also look into a pre-paid shuttle. Very popular option and I have seen them there as soon as the ships dock. Here is a list of some of the most used in the area…- 1

Thank you for the fast response. That's just what I needed to know!
Absolutely 100% worth it at this port!!! And I love that you can reserve and pre-pay parking… -

I'm in the midst of booking my flights home after our cruise which docks at Port Canaveral. Do you think that an 11:30 am flight out of MCO is doable? We both TSA Precheck, if that matters. I've always cruised out of Miami and Fort Lauderdale, but this is my first time out of Port Canaveral, so I have no idea what the terminal is like there. I hear it's about an hour away from MCO, is that true?
which ship??? The larger Oasis class ships do a better job of getting people off earlier and quicker… -
We stayed at the Hampton Inn Brickell and enjoyed it very much. In the financial district so was very safe and clean. And you are within walking distance to shops and restaurants.
The morning of the cruise we paid and small fee and took their shuttle to the port..

We were just in Labadee yesterday on the Adventure. Any excursions that were off the land were cancelled.
I was hesitant to go there but it was fine….
-
We are headed there now on the Adventure. All excursions have been cancelled except for
those where you remain on Labadee….
I have been here many times but this time o am not comfortable. I just wish they had cancelled this stop all together!!!

Not as it relates to the peninsula of Labadee it is not.
we have been here many times so I am well aware of where Labadee is located! All excursions have been canceled but yet we are still docking there.
I have a right to my opinion and I am still not comfortable going here! I will be happy when tomorrow is over and we are leaving Labadee!!

We are headed there now. I wish we weren’t going!! This is way more than just the usual Haiti uprising!!!😡😡😡

We are signed up for traditional dining at 5:00. As many others have said, there is some disappointment that the time is 5:00 instead of 5:30.
How close to 5:00 do we have to be? If we wander in between 5:15 and 5:30, is anyone going to say anything? Is there a cutoff time when they say it's too late and send me to the Windjammer? Thanks.
Forgot to add that it is a table for two so no one at my table would be held up
we just got off the Wonder a couple of weeks ago and our dining time was 5:00pm. There was a sign posted indicating your table would be held until 5:15 and after it would be given away…..- 3
