We just returned from our cruise which included Ephesus. We had a private tour with Ephesus Deluxe. We arranged the tour over the internet and did not have to pay until the tour was complete and we could pay in US dollars, euros. or Turkish lira. Our guide was a wonderful young woman named Amy who is an archeologist and has worked in the diggings at Ephesus. Two pieces that she found are in the Ephesus Archeological Museum, which was included in the tour. She is also a certified teacher of English. The web site is www.ephesusdeluxe.com. They offer many options for your tour.

I recently lost 40 pounds so dress shopping was so much more fun then it used to be! :D

Here is a photo I took yesterday with my new Tamron 18-270 lens. I love the range of this lens. Thanks for the recommendations on my other thread for what to get. It sure is a lot heavier than the 50 mm I have been using!

I will sure be glad when we get Spring around here! I will go back when it greens up and re-take this photo.

Here are the dresses I plan to wear on the RCI cruise to the Eastern Caribbean in January. Gotta love my mom who bought them for me. Onestopplus is a great website!

 

I love the blue ruffle dress. I think I need to take it in a little. I've lost about 20 pounds so far this year and I'm in between sizes right now. But I'd rather have the dresses be a little big than too small. Going to be looking for something sparkly to jazz up the red dress.

Those are all great dresses! I love the red one especially.

I thought this was just a sculpture, but DH said it was part of a steam locomotive, which is pretty cool because that is a train bridge in the background.

I got a new Canon SX 40 this week. Here are a few test shots from this morning.

I just ordered this dress for our next cruise. I had been watching it for a while, and they didn't have my size. Well today ... voila! They must have got a shipment in. :D I don't wear dresses in my day to day life, so it is so much fun to dress up on cruises.
