@NCteacherlovescruising Do you still have a flight to Madrid, then a flight BCN-FCO, or are you flying directly to FCO? We were talking a while back about complicated flight itineraries. I forget what you decided to do. If directly to FCO, even changing flights in the US, I would agree on checking, especially when you are going to be six days in Rome after the flight. They will get the bags to you at the hotel. My only concern would be if we had tight connections or if we were moving to a different location or ship the next day. Going home we always check the suitcases. Having said all of that, we just flew to Florida. We checked two identical bags at the same time. One went on our flight, the other one went on the following flight, so we had to sit at the airport to wait for it. Go figure. (Other than that, we have never had any problems checking bags.) Make sure you put airtags in your bags whether you check them or not. The Clarins would probably be cheaper in Europe than here. Check the prices as suggested above in amazon.it.

I think the OP is taking a ship's tour that ends in Fira and needs to take the cable car down. Chances are they tender to Athinios and only return from Fira. AFAIK - ship excursions provide the return ticket for the cable car.

For sure they have it. Check out the pharmacies as you walk past them. Specific items may be available in different stores. Also look for a "profumeria" or perfume store. They also carry beauty supplies. I even think I saw a Sephora somewhere in Rome.

Your tour guide will give you a ticket which should be included in the tour price. Then you stand in line. No numbers, no calls, just wait your turn in line. You know it's your turn to get on when you get to the car.

Frankly, Barcelona is not the place for flamenco. Tapas, yes. However, if the OP is not going to Andalusia, a one hour show is enough to satisfy their curiosity. If possible, an earlier show would be best to leave the evening free for tapeo and dinner. (Tapeo = going out for tapas)

The show is one hour long. You are better off going for tapas and/or dinner after the show. As with any show, you will most likely get much better food elsewhere.

If you must, pick Valencia. The water is always cold in Malaga. Don't waste your time in Barcelona going to the beach.

It is very close to the port even if it involves going in the opposite direction for a little while.

You are a bit too early. Reservatons open up 11-12 months ahead of time on the reservation websites. You can always email the hotel directly now and they will quote you a price and reserve if you like their offer.

Look at the google map link I posted above in post #5. It has a walking route to the station that starts at Embarcadère Île Sainte Marguerite. The tenders drop off a few steps away.

Termini is not the best area to stay in, both in terms of nearby attractions or attractiveness. Practically all hotels will serve breakfast. You will get a bar as you move up the price scale. More likely than not, all hotels will have many restaurants on the same block or nearby. Also look in the Pantheon and Campo di Fiori areas.

It's a great plan. You have enough time to do both. You could take the taxi from Amalfi to Ravello first, go back to walk around Amalfi and take the ferry back. This avoids possible traffic delays with the bus.

@billyblaze The walk to the station is 1.4 km (less than 1 mile). It takes 15-20 minutes and it is all flat. The trains are very frequent, at least two or three per hour depending on the time of day.
