  1. From the comments it is just another example that a good portion of people are unable to accept screw ups have consequences. It may be inconvenient but there isn't always a magic wand in life to fix things.

Saying NCL should've done something is easy, finding 2 bags in a hold containing thousands when there is only a couple hours to the ship sails isn't.

It is unfortunate and I certainly empathize with them but that doesn't mean the blame is assigned elsewhere.

  2. Hi

I am new to Kindle, just got it and put 1 book on it.

You can use it on your phone and iPad too? I can start reading on the kindle then later pick off where I left off on my phone?

I probably need to read the users guide

    Thank you

Yes....download the book on all devices and it will sync between them.

  3. Why does everyone need to compare the USA whenever something negative is said about a foreign port?

The poster who claimed the crime in Falmouth Jamaica was the same as NYC got an earful from posters here explaining how wrong he was

Now while I admit anyone can get ill anywhere at any time...if a poster has a question about health issues in Mexico ( it was actually punta cana if you researched ) so be it....and there is no reason to compare it to anyplace else. Just say you have or haven't heard of this and perhaps googling Mexican or wherever beach health concerns might answer their quandary?

I'm curious though as to why you compared to the USA? Why not Canada Australia or Europe? Cruisers come from there too you know

Maybe you are from the USA but if you are why would you just assume USA hospital gyms etc are cesspools? And that it's not a worldwide concern?

I see the couple in question were from Canada...all the more reason my post ring true....

  4. I have posted this before but will remind you all again. The ice bucket and the ice placed in it everyday should be viewed with scrutiny. Your room steward usually cleans your room, toilet, sink, shower etc while wearing rubber gloves. He/she is also handling your ice bucket/fresh ice while also wearing those rubber gloves. If you think your steward is changing his/her gloves a couple dozen times per day, more power to you. With 10-15 rooms on the daily cleaning schedule it's no wonder so many people get sick while on a cruise.

annnnnndddd......no. Completely wrong. Good try though.
