Learn something new every day! I prefer to do my own laundry but did not know about Elite getting free tokens. Of course as with many Princess consistent inconsistencies, my luck will be that the ship I am sailing on won’t follow the practice of free tokens! Lol! 🥴🤣😂

On our last cruise we couldn’t even get a Dirty Banana near the end because they had no bananas. Seems supply is still an issue - our cruise was a month ago.

@We_like_to_cruise- thank you for this exceptional live! We have enjoyed 2 cruises on the Island - Panama Canal full transit and Alaska. They were both prior to the major changes to the ship. We will be on the Island for a B2B to the Baltics from Southampton to Copenhagen and Norway and Iceland from Copenhagen to Southampton this summer and can’t wait! We will be sailing in our first aft-facing balcony. I have a strange question. In the buffet, are the coffee cups plastic or ceramic? I cannot drink my hot tea from a plastic cup so I usually bring a ceramic one from home. We were on the Sky a few weeks ago and they had ceramic cups in the buffet. I will be excited if I don’t have to pack my mugs! Thanks and wishing you continued smooth sailing!

@Grammy J - we just did a B2B with a turnaround in Ft. Lauderdale. One piece of advice - check with the Loyalty & Events person (formerly known as Captains Circle Host) to find out how many passengers will be doing the turnaround. Last year it was only 150 or so. This year it was over 850!!! Last year, we met with the group and the process was quick - off the ship, walk through customs and right back on the ship. This year, we waited forever for all 850 people to show up, waited for our Group to be called, went through Customs and then had to wait in the Elite Lounge to reboard. While waiting in the Lounge, we watched a steady stream of Groups walk off on the gangway. Seemed like it took forever! You have the ability to leave the ship when disembarking starts (bring your medallion, passport and “in transit” card) and enjoy walking around or having coffee off the ship. When you return to the ship, you will board ahead of the new passengers once boarding begins. Next time we plan to get off and explore if the turnaround numbers are high. Rest assured, you will be given very clear instructions in writing and all will be well!

On our cruise 2 weeks ago, unvaccinated passengers could not leave the ship in Grand Turk.

We just got off the Sky after two weeks. My husband prefers Coke Zero but we have never seen it on Princess ship. Makes one wonder, doesn’t it? On our B2B it was cream for coffee/tea that disappeared. First few days it was available in MDR, buffet and Sanctuary. Then we were told in the Sanctuary that they only had skim and regular milk. Same thing a few days later in the buffet. The last few days, no cream in the MDR. Not sure why they would run out of cream on both 7-day cruises. I should have run to Publix on turnaround day! 🤣

We also use peroxide prior to brushing and thought we could pick up some in Southampton. No such luck. Hate to pack that big bottle from home but for longer cruises it’s the only choice.

Yes! Even if crew members tell you no dining room is open (only buffet) it will be listed on the Patter. Enjoy!

We had the pleasure of watching the debut of “The Spotlight Bar” onboard the Sky Princess last night! (2/16/23) It was fabulous - in our opinion - with a very talented cast! I mean, when was the last time you saw a show with tap-dancing cowboys?!?! Lots of great songs and a delight to see! Kudos to the creative team (who sat behind us) and to the singers and dancers!! Hope they roll this one out fleetwide!

Yes! The soufflé is Very Hot!! It’s hard to be patient but after years of practice, I let it sit for a minute or two before digging in and devouring it!

Another MDR fan here! I’m not officially on a cruise until I have ordered: Avocado and Bay Shrimp Salmon Orange Soufflé On our last few cruises, I didn’t even open the menu. Decision made! As Starshine says, we can eat at Alfredo’s all cruise long but the embarkation lunch menu only happens once per cruise. My husband also recommends the beef medallions!

Currently onboard the Sky. Haven’t sailed on Carnival but from what I’ve read, Princess is quieter but not dead. Lol! As others have said, Spring Breakers can add more to the mix, but we have found plenty to do onboard. No Mr. Best Legs or bellyflop games, if that’s your fancy. 😂🤣 Enjoy your cruise! And look for Yaniris is the Estrella Dining Room!! She is fabulous!!

Amber Cove had a pool area but no beach.

Not our experience. On a B2B and had shore excursion OBC on both. Took no excursions. The shore excursion was a credit on our portfolio and we used it up for Gratuities, Sanctuary and occasional drinks. Easy peasy lemon squeezy!

It can be used for anything onboard. The amount is added to your portfolio as a credit.

We are on our 2nd cruise of a B2B and it was easy peasy. We packed all our stuff except hanging and everything was in the new cabin after the turnaround process

We boarded the Sky on February 4th. When checking in, we were asked if we were vaccinated but no proof was requested. We are vaccinated and boosted. I asked what if we were not vaccinated and the woman said then you had to answer a health questionnaire and would not be allowed ashore at Grand Turk. When the ship docked in Grand Turk, some passengers were complaining at the Passenger Services desks because they had booked excursions and were not allowed to leave the ship. I don’t know what happened to anyone who lied about their vaccination status when questioned. I feel Princess dropped the ball on this one. JMHO

Agreed! Currently onboard the Sky. We each had the shore excursion OBC and did not take any excursions. Other onboard expenses (gratuities/Sanctuary/drinks) have been covered by the shore excursion and other OBC.
