  1. In general the app is unreliable and inaccurate. Many people have posted photographs recent on-board menus and they will probably tell you what you need to know. That’s a very cheap price for a drinks upgrade here are some menus from October 2023
  2. The app is frequently incomplete and incorrect. If your points are correct, when you sign on to your account on your tablet, or laptop, that’s all that matters.
  3. There are five Solstice class ships each with their own pros and cons. Maybe narrow your question down a bit? What did you like about the ships you have sailed on before?

  6. This is allowed in some ports and not in others. So beware of passengers who report that they successfully did what you propose — , make sure that they tell you which port they were in.

The concierge usually send out a pre-cruise questionnaire, asking if there are any requests for the stateroom, extra hangers, extra blankets, etc. I imagine that some who need an extension cord note their request there, feeling that there is then no need to put in an order through special needs.

  9. Yes, double check that it was an infinite verandah guarantee, not a verandah guarantee. That should be your first step.
  10. I agree…special needs is the way to order your cord and water, not the Concierge
  11. This is an example of what happens to confiscated items….you collect them on leaving the ship
  12. Don’t wait until you get on board to request one. Contact the special-needs department and they will make sure that you have one waiting for you in your state room or it will be delivered shortly by the housekeeping staff along with distilled water.
  13. The most up to date information is that continental breakfast comes with no fee. After that there is a fee, which is charged per delivery, not per meal, so you can order two lunches or two dinners for one fee of $9.95

  17. They used to this on M and S class ships but ceased at least five years ago. it would be nice if they reinstated it fleet wide but are you certain you were looking at Cafe Al Bacio and not done other venue?
  18. Marriott Gras cruise out of Tampa? That will be on another M class ship, similar to the Summit which you will be on.
  19. You made a new reservation right? You must put that deposit on a credit card.
  20. The ‘24 cruise will be unchanged. The new terms will take effect on the ‘25 booking.
  21. Is there a late arrival? Or is the arrival as scheduled and the next cruise’s boarding delayed?
