  1. Did the overnight thing last year and with later arrival and early(?) departure the next day just did not seem like enough time to really explore on both days.
  2. Got card last year for sign-up bonus. After paying off cruise for this fall will have enough points for just over $300 OBC and will cancel when return from cruise. Have been thinking of Celebrity lately and will have to look into them for a bonus /no fee card next year.
  3. Thanks for the lightning speed replied, knew I could count on the good folks here!
  4. Tried several iterations of this ? and got no hits in the search option. So, can the diamond drink allotment be used in the specialty restaurants?
  5. It will be interesting to see IF that plays out in the next 5 or so years, one can only hope.
  6. WE can only hope but I am afraid the economics for ships smaller than those now being built are not favorable.
  7. Just explain to the Yoots what the seapass cards are for and what you expect of them in their use. Also, check your onboard account daily to avoid any surprises!
  8. Enjoyed reading your review. Though I know it will never happen, I just wish they would build new ships in the Vision, Radiance class size. The behemoth ships they are building now have no attraction for me, especially with the non-existent views of the sea from interior public spaces.
  9. I just looked at MGM Rewards site and see comp nights available for the rest of May and for the next few months at all of the Las Vegas properties I looked at. Being a right coaster I just check out the Borgata in Atlantic City and they are not showing any comp nights for now. Just make sure you access the MGM Rewards site and hopefully you will see the comp nights that are available, My level of gaming would not get me a free cup of coffee so the only access I have for the nights is through the tier match. Hope this helps.
  10. Not sure reason for not booking through MGM site, perhaps price issues, but outside of summer peak time I have seen comp nights for every other month this past year. Go through the booking process at MGM and see what shows up.
  11. That is my take also. They make it sound as though they are doing you a favor and never come close to admitting their mistake and apologizing.
  12. Probably cheaper keep everything as is and deal with the no show on boarding and just put child in cabin with older son. Have never head of cabin steward reporting on number of occupants in a booked cabins.
  13. Though not a subscriber to their channel I do watch most of their videos and they can get over the top spmetimes on their comments, usually favorable, regarding food. Though taste is certainly subjective there were so many other issues with the MD food.
  14. On a few cruises down the Chesapeake Bay have seen flyovers but not quite so close as described above,
  15. Not as bad as Ben & David but on cruise earlier this year with "new" menus I had a few issues similar to their review. Disappointed in elimination of the always available items and makeup of items on new menus does not fit very well with the themed night .
  16. Depending on how casual the day outfits are they probably can do double duty on some evenings depending on where you eat and how you feel about "casual".
  17. Been there a couple of times and just like getting off ship and strolling around the grounds.
  18. Just recently made the DP340 level. Provide DP340 code and CA number at appropriate points in the process and you should get an alert that the price has changed just belore supplying billing information.
  19. Have thought of cruising out of there in the past but parking always seemed a bit on the high side. For a 10 day cruise probably cheaper and with more options to fly down to one of the Florida ports.
  20. I just need to be on a ship and most of the time book insides. I have splurged on balconies in the past when a bargain was to be had.
  21. I appreciate everyone's help and patience with this, I finally got the price molly361 got. My problem was that I did not go all of the way through the process of supplying passenger info just before booking and making deposit Thanks again for the help!.
  22. OK Here is what I did for a mock booking on the Vision leaving on 10/31/2024. I selected an inside 2V cabin on deck 7 and with and without using the DP340 code the discount was the same @ $729, though this is a little over a straight 30% off. I woulld appreciate any insight if I am missing anything, or if others have had to do just call and speak with someone.,
  23. Just made sure I selected a cruise outside of the restricted period and the only discount showing is the 30% off all cruisers. Did select and apply DP340 promo code but still not affecting fares, so I suppose the 30% off deal shows as a better fare and as long as this promo is out there the DP340 deal is a worthless perk(?)
  24. Tried plugging in DP340 through on line site and does not appear to affect pricing. Does the 30% off all cruisers promo make this a worthless perk(?) or do I need to call in and speak with an agent?
  25. Rarely use the 2 24-hour periods of free access I get I can appreciate that there are those that NEED access but just to get access so that you can carry on normal activities as though you were at home? It is a vacation so cut the cord and relax!
