  1. Looks like this may kill the prospect of going with a mid-sized class in the near(?) future.
  2. Is that bacon on the lobster? Not a big fan of lobster but always looking for an opportunity to eat some bacon. BTW enjoying following you on your journey and thanks for posting!
  3. As long as the machine is working. May need to acquaint yourself with the basic workings of the machine as sometimes the grinds need to be emptied out or other basic functions may not be up and running first thing until staff comes in.
  4. When they switched over to the new style I just left mine in the cabin. IMHO the older blocks looked a bit more classy and not so much as an in your face advertisement.
  5. Has anyone seen or heard of plans for RCL to cruise out of Baltimore past April of 2025? I see they do have schedules posted for other ports into 2026.
  6. Hard to believe that anyone that has cruised before doesn't realize the pre/press invitation previews are just for show and the normal offerings for paying passenger sailings will be nothing like that.
  7. I usually over(?) pack but since I am driving to port and not flying this I not an issue, I am more conscious of what I pack when I have to fly.
  8. Until recently I have never purchased any specialty dining. With the MDR menu changes I have gone with a few days for lunch, booked when they are offering % off, with this option and just do the WJ for diner on the days when I really do not care for the MDR selections.
  9. Scholl considerations are a thing of the past, now many parents think nothing of taking the kids out of school for a vacation plus homeschooling is becoming more prevalent. Those 3 and 4 day year round sailings out of Florida will still be full of families regardless of when they sail.
  10. Not to me, Almost double what you are paying , use the $'s to buy whatever drink packages you want for this and your next cruise and you should(?) reach diamond status by then.
  11. As long as they can fill the mega ships sailing out of US ports my guess is they will not venture into a smaller class as long as they can sail current smaller class of ships into European ports.
  12. The show uses a few songs from Sweet Charity which I am sure most folks have never heard of or seen plus a few from Chicago. which is more recent(?)
  13. Have a great trip! ? Sailed on Vision twice this year without incident but seems lately there have been issues with water/pipe problems on deck 7, would like to hear if this has been resolved or is this just an ongoing problem for an older ship?
  14. These are priced at whatever the market is willing to pay. If not enough interest in the higher prices they will lower to attract new customers. This is nothing new from a marketing perspective but as long as folks are willing to pay the higher prices there is no incentive to lower the price. ECON. 101
  15. Depending on when you have dinner scheduled I would opt for something other than the Windjammer if you have an early dinner time, if you have a later dinner schedule i hang around until the Windjammer gets less crowded after cabins open up.
  16. See post 4, may or may not be a better price now. Pretty much a crap shoot.
  17. If there is an 11 day cruise on the Anthem before yours sails change the cruise date in the app during that time frame and you should(?) be able to see the daily menus.
  18. Rebooked Giovani's lunch for a few days and saved a few bucks but not much else interested me.
  19. I just plan to use OBC on cruise, not worth the bother to do otherwise for me.
  20. On the VOS recently, the beef (prime(?) rib and tenderloin) were certainly a cut(no pun intended)below what has been served in years past. Haven't seen rack of lamb in a while. Just seems to be a downward trend in quality of food offered in the main dining room. I certainly did not go hungry but just getting disappointing.
