I will call the # Celebrity gave me to purchase insurance from AON. And yes, we did have to pay port charges for the free cruise. But the site AON said do not include port charges when you put in what you paid for the cruise. So I put in $0 for the cruise fare.

Has anyone used X insurance when you booked a free cruise? I put in $0 for the cost of the cruise. They said do not to include port charges. Got a good price for the insurance. We are 70+ and this sounded like a good thing. Any comments?

We were able to book the Edge in an infinite veranda (E-2) with BCC offer for a free cruise. What type of cabin is this. Is it a regular balcony? Also we are Elite and Diamond on RC. RC gives us 4 drinks a day. What do we get with X? Is it just free drinks while in the casino? Excited. First free cruise ever.

Thanks everyone for all the helpful info. I was able to book the Edge for the date I wanted and paid for it. Earlier today I booked (with no payment). She did not have the date I wanted but I booked it to not lose the free cruise. This afternoon when I called to book the date of my choice, there were quite a few he gave me to choose from. If at first you do not get what you want, call again. This is our first free cruise. We are Pearl and really do not gamble that much. Now to get insurance and air fare from Newark or Philly to FLL.

So I filled out the form from the email and put in my three choices yesterday. Is it better to call them or should I wait for them to call me.

When you booked with the BCC offer, do you have to pay anything at time of booking. Also they show three choices for sailings. Do you get your first choice. Can you do cruise air with X?

Was it easy getting in and out of the water? Sometimes you sink in the sand at waters edge. Hard on the knees.

What site did you use to purchase the day pass? Also how was the entry into the water? Was it difficult to get in and out of the water. Any seaweed? I guess this beach is next to Junkanoo beach. We have been to Junkanoo some years back when maybe 10 or so people were on the beach. Now it is way too crowded with a few hundred people. Appreciate any info.

Has anyone been to Goodman's or Saunder's after hurricane Nicole that hit Nov. 9. Would like to know how the two beaches are in regard to seaweed and difficulty in getting in and out of the water. See my post above when we were there Oct. 27 after hurricane Ian.

We just off the Oasis and had a regular ocean view balcony. It was great. We walked through the Boardwalk and Central Park and would never book one of these balconies. Spend a little more for a regular ocean view balcony. It is worth it.

We were at Goodman's and Saunder's last week. Took #10 and told the driver we wanted to get off at Goodman's. He dropped us off at the first entrance for Goodman's. So we walked quite a way to the second entrance. Water looked nice but the beach and water were full of seaweed. It was very difficult to get in and out of the ocean because you kept sinking into the sand. Very rough on your knees. So we took a taxi back to Saunder's. They were fixing up the beach with a bulldozer. No one was there. We did check out the beach and it was the same as Goodman's - seaweed and difficult getting in and out of the water. Just like Goodman's, sinking into the sand. We then took a taxi back to the ship for $5 each. Will be going to Nassau the first week in Dec. and not sure if we want to chance these two beaches again.

I was finally able to book Spectra's Cabaret for the 3rd night at 9:15. Could not see the dates, so powelweb we booked the the same day and time that you booked. Have been on Anthem two times before. Really enjoyed Spectra's Cabaret and We Will Rock You. Have no idea what the Gift was about when we saw it. So we will skip this one.

No matter what I click on, I cannot get to show reservations. We just came off the Oasis and were only able to book shows when we were on the ship. Any suggestions on how to book on Anthem before we board. Thanks

Will be on the Anthem the first week of Dec. What shows are on the Anthem now? Do they still have We Will Rock You? I tried to reserved shows, but would not allow me to even though they sent me an email to reserve shows for my upcoming Anthem cruise.

Thanks I just called. We needed 175 points for the gift. But we will get a can of soda each in the cabin. We are diamond so I guess you have to be D+.

The medallion is the reason we do not go on Princess. My DH has two cochlear implants. If the magnet brushes along his head, they may interfere with this implants. This can be during dinner in the MDR when people are passing by us with the medallion hanging around their neck. The last time on Princess we opted for the regular room key.

Will be on the Anthem this December. Are they still charging for the iFly and the North Star. Can you make reservations. If so, when.

We are on the Oasis out of Bayonne October 23, 2022. Maybe I can look into other cruises out of Bayonne. Any suggestions?

Just saw this at Celebrity. Onboard Casino New Hours - 7 days/week - 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Cannot believe this. Don't they make money in the casino any more. I do like the casino. It is a source of entertainment for me (playing the slots).

I love to high-light on the compass. Been doing this for years and won't stop now.
