  1. I bring my own hangers. Even put the clothes on hangers when I pack at home.
  2. Looking at the Oasis at the ocean view balconies on Decks 6, 7, or 8. Not the boardwalk or central balconies. What deck would you suggest.
  3. Thanks for this site. You learn something new every day.
  4. I use this site all the time. But I thought that you found a shortcut for just Coco Cay.
  5. S.A.M.J.R, - Where did you get this info. I am planning on going to Coco Cay in Oct., Nov.,or Dec. This would be most helpful.
  6. We are planning on being on the Oasis OTS. One stop is Coco Cay. Besides the Oasis, there will be either the Independence, Explorer, Odyssey, Freedom ,Anthem, or Seranade with the Oasis. Oasis has a capacity of about 5400. We were on the Enchantment in April and were the only ship at Coco Cay. We are planning either this Oct. or Nov. for our cruise.
  7. We are looking at an OV Balcony. Not interested in Boardwalk or Central Park. What deck is best for OV Balcony.
  8. Thanks for all the replies. We never sail in the summer or during school breaks. Looking on going Oct. of Nov. Yes, we are diamond. Love the perks.
  9. Thinking about going on the Oasis out of Bayonne this fall. How crowded would it be? How crowed would the buffet area be, pool area, venues, etc, We have bee on the Anthem twice before covid and found it to be crowded. We try to cruise when there would be less children. Any info would be helpful.
  10. Also bacon was only available every other day at the breakfast buffet. If you wanted bacon on your Guy's burger, you had to ask for it. It was under the counter and out of sight for the passengers. Another way Carnival is cutting corners today.
  11. Once a day was fine for us. Our room steward said he had 35 cabins instead of the normal 20. He was amazing.
  12. Some other observations on this cruise: Cabin steward only once a day. Daily paper only at Guest Services after 10:00 PM for the next day. One fork & knife at dinner. Did not give you new ones between courses. One roll & one butter per person. We never asked for seconds. No table cloth. Not even on "elegant nights." If no iphone, you have to ask for a dinner menu.
  13. We also were on the May 28 sailing. We do not have an Iphone (smart phone). Just a flip phone between me and my DH. Were not able to do the Carnival app. First two nights were no problem getting a table for MTD in the MDR. Just gave the hostess our cabin # and were put on the wait list. Just waited 15-20 minutes (in the cold, cold, lounge) for our table for 2. The following nights when we checked in with the hostess (no one waiting to be seated) we were told there were some 76 and 98 pax before us. This would not do. We complained and complained that we were being penalized for not having a smart phone. We also noticed that there were several tables for two that were not occupied. We were then seated right away for the last few days of the cruise. We had the same table and the same amazing wait staff. Another thing, when we were first seated, they asked us what we would like. How about a menu - we do NOT have an iphone. Food in the MDR was pretty good. But the lunch buffet food was just awful. The only good thing about the lunch buffet were the amazing cake desserts. The pizza was much better on previous cruises. Had it once and that was enough. We have been on 50+ cruises. But not all on Carnival (we are platinum).
  14. Leaving this Sat. on the Legend out of Baltimore. We booked with Special Players Club Offer. It said "drinks on us. Included while playing the the casino." It also shows a rate code PSE that that will automatically applied at checkout. Looked at my invoice and there is no mention of code PSE. We are VIFP Club members. Does this drink offer refer to me and my DH. Anyone else had this offer. If so, how did it work.

  16. Thanks Honolulu Blue. Appreciate the info but I only have a flip phone and do not have a tablet. Maybe Celebrity would help me with this while onboard. I do hope that testing to enter the US would not be required by then (Sept.). Another reason to cancel our cruise. We lift and shifted this cruise twice and not sure if X will allow us to do so again.
  17. Per the Celebrity site: Re-Entry (to home country) We will provide eMED Test Kits for purchase for all U.S. guests at debark to satisfy the U.S. re-entry test. eMED Test Kits have telehealth capabilities in order to leverage a quick and convenient home travel test and cost $29.99. A United States address is required to register and utilize these test kits. Any other nationalities, please check your country's re-entry requirements for specific testing information. What is meant by telehealth. How does that work. We are not too computer literate.
  18. We are on X Connie RT from Venice (Ravenna) in Sept. What kind of testing will we need to fly back to the US from Venice. Things are so complicated.
