  1. amcankid and jvteach77, Thanks for your posts. Now I know going to the desk multiple times doesn't change anything with the limits. I haven't had much luck using the kiosks but I will definitely try again. If that eliminates the limit problem, that would be great. I'll try that next month on the Panorama.
  2. Maybe the trick is to do only $1K-$2K and then wait? IDK. I think we tried $3K that trip and we were denied. I'm pretty sure we did more than that in the past but not sure. We also have cash with us, too. This could also be ship specific and how well they understand their own policies. Maybe they just didn't like us! LOL! Has anyone else had this happen to them?
  3. Yes. We were limited on our on board account to $2K in gift cards. We bought the $500 cards and after $2K, they said we had reached the maximum, even though we had 2 rooms. I had used my credit card for both rooms so we were considered one account and we were given that limit. They said they needed to call Corporate to see if they could accept more and we were denied. It was an especially bad casino trip so we just stopped gambling. Their loss AND MINE! 😞
  4. We've been limited to $2K in gift cards the past.
  5. I do it for our whole group. I add all of the booking numbers into my account and I have access.
  6. We had the same experience as StephPS79. Our no show was charged a $100 cancellation fee that came out of the refund of port charges. We sail on casino deals and this may be the reason.
  7. That's an interesting room design. So much extra space!
  8. Hi, Try looking after you have signed out of your account and it has been idle for a few minutes. I recently discovered that not all rooms show up as an option when clicking in through your offers, even if you want to pay extra. This happened to me when booking the Firenze.
  9. We sailed on the Miracle in December. The parking structure was closed and not available to us.
  10. We always do the extra key option. Tried to move people around once and it was a disaster. It took the entire cruise before all departments knew where we were and the billing got funky. We prefer to keep it simple and leave the ship out of it.
  11. Thank you for the responses. I had heard it was especially bad on the Panorama so hopefully there will be some improvement. Our cruise isn't until May 25th so our weather might cooperate. We just sailed in the aft wrap on the Miracle and didn't see a speck.
  12. Hi, I have read that the back balcony cabins on the Panorama can suffer from soot problems. Has this improved since the recent repair last fall? Thanks!
  13. Hopefully something will show up on-line within a few days. We had this happen once. DH got his early on the last night but nothing for me and I did more damage. We had time to go to the casino to ask and they swear they put one under our door for me but nada. It was there on-line a few days later. Honestly, the regular offers are way better. The bounce-backs haven't been coming with free play.
  14. Thank you, CARNIVAL!!!! Some people can't eat pizza so having something else besides waiting and waiting for room service is a VERY welcome change. 🙂
  15. Hi, We do it the same as wemjam. We set our account up as credit card so we can start charging things right away while the lines at guest services are long. The kiosks are also hit or miss for us. About day 2 or 3, we load the gift cards. They will always use the gift cards first. We also only load what we think we will use. If we charge more, we load more. That saves us from any kind of a refund situation. Tina
  16. LOL! to LRDR01. I do understand some of your thoughts. We 100% agree about the Ocean Suites. Ours was missing a shower door and the trap under the tub wouldn't stay locked and there was rust at the door frame in the bathroom. We also had a water leak over our bed. The crew did their absolute best to help us with that and comped some stuff. Since then, we have opted for the aft view balcony and love it there. I will admit... one of our cabins had a smell of burnt pizza most of the trip but DH liked that! LOL!!!! I will also agree about the Seaday Brunch. IT TOOK FOREVER!!!!!!!!! Never again! But... we always have a great time and the crew has been amazing and if you get a room towards the back or at least in the middle, you're close to everything. (We aren't production show people) We prefer the 4 day trips compared to the weekend booze cruise but it's fun either way. 🙂 Tina
  17. Thank you for your review. We really enjoy the Radiance and much prefer it over the Panorama. Our daughter just got off of her this AM and we'll be on her again in 2 weeks. YAY!!! I don't know what it is but it just feels more comfortable. 🙂
  18. We had a second person not show up and we received a $100 fine. Port Chargers refunded, less $100.
  19. Hi, StephPS79 is correct. Just log out of the app and then enter your new booking number. I had the exact same situation. Cruise booked for September but added July. Worked perfectly! 🙂 Tina
  20. I just found this information on the Carnival site. It's 2 decks up! 🙂
  21. Hi, Where exactly is the smoking section on the Panorama? I don't usually pay much attention as non-smokers but we just booked the Junior Suite on the front and Starboard. My eyes just got real big and I said Oh No! Thanks, Tina
  22. We have done this a lot but we've had a few snags along the way. We always wait until we have spent the money before loading the cards but a few ships have limited how many cards can be redeemed, per cabin. We usually have 2 cabins and 2 gift cards per cabin has always been fine and sometimes more is OK. My suggestion is to not bring $100 cards if you plan to use them for gambling.
  23. For me, it's because the dining room closes before we get up! 🙂
