Not all flights by Celebrity are refundable fares.   If you have a non-refundable fare and you cancel after final payment you would have the $200 pp FBC fee and you would probably just have airline credit generally good for 1 year after ticketing.  Generally FBC doesn't ticket until payment so you should have most of a year to use.

Make sure to check this on the flight summary.   If the flight isn't tagged with "Risk Free" that's also an indicator.

Wow.  Good to know.  I will double check for risk free airfares.

Celebrity "Flights by Celebrity" fares do not have to be paid at all until cruise final payment date. I never pay before this is due.  Until then any changes or a cancellation cost nothing.   There is no fee to cancel prior to final payment.  There are no other fees except the $200 pp if you cancel after final payment. Refunds go back to the credit card used to pay.

Thanks for letting me know that refunds go back to the credit card used to pay.  It makes me feel better about booking with Celebrity air.

  3. Hello.  I have searched the cruise air forum but have not found an answer to my question.  If I book Celebrity air, I understand the fare is fully refundable prior to final payment for a $200 pp fee.  If I cancel my air after the final payment, I understand there is a $200 pp fee plus processing fees.  How much do processing fees cost?  Any experience?  Also, do I get a full refund, net of the two fees, on my credit card I paid with?  I do not want a credit from Celebrity.  Any insights would be most helpful.

    Thanks.

Here you go.  Though, I can't take the credit...these were posted earlier in this thread by another user (thanks, @Coral).  I hope this helps!

  5. Hello. We've just come off the Equinox and loved the World Class Bar.  Our favorite 2 drinks were the Azteca and Double Piqante.  We forgot to take menu pictures of these drinks and want to make them at home.  We've been able to source Bittermen's products.  Does anyone have menu pictures showing ingredients or a recipe for these?  We want to keep the cruise afterglow going!

    Many thanks.

Has anyone had problems with the power up quiz for Europe and Alaska.   I think my issues are with the distance from Koper to the Postonja Caves and/or the main type of fish for offshore fishing in Seward.  I was pretty confident in my other responses but I may be off track.  It has now become a obsession as I spent over an hour trying different combinations with no luck.    Appreciate the groups help doing my homework!  Kim

I have not received the power up quiz.  Can someone post the link?  Many thanks

  7. Thanks Sea Hag for your thoughts.  We are concerned with noise and traffic from the teen zone and it is an August cruise we are looking at so I think we'll change decks.  Am currently thinking about the balconies on the Promenade Deck 7.  I am hoping this is a better choice.

  8. Has anyone sailed in a Lido cabin, especially L702, on the Island Princess?  Is there a lot of hall traffic for the teen zone ?
Are the balconies open to above and can the Sanctuary see down on them?

Many thanks.  I have never sailed on the Island Princess and am trying to pick a good cabin for a 14 day sailing.
