Oh, one more ? Are they they large bottles or the smaller regular size waters? I drink a lot of water and since you can't bring it on anymore, I might need to pre order.

Okay, I know someone will say the tap water is fine...I won't drink it.

    They are the large bottles

Can't answer for debarkation at all, but airport wait times are long depending on the airport. There are lots of delays, cancelations, and issues with workforce. There is a reasons 1000s of flights are being canceled. Some have a better grasp on it over others, but one slight hiccup in the NE can impact all flights in the SE. The same goes for any region.

Our return flights in Nov is at 6PM. We will get to the airport when we get there. If we arrive by say 11AM, we will curb check our bags, get an Uber to a restaurant until say 2PM, then Uber back to the airport. We will be flying out of MCO and I expect Thanksgiving to be massive crowds, flights canceled and/or overbooked.

A couple years ago when we tried to check our bags earl in Seattle, they would not allow us to do so. You could only check in a couple ours early. I forget if it was 2 or 4. So we sat outside until it we could.

We brought long strapping and wrapped it around the post on one side of the door, and down to the railing on the other side (so it's sort of diagonal. We took it down when we weren't using it, tring to not make it obvious. But it's a great place for napping. Here's a pic from our balcony in Alaska, with DH taking a nap. Yes, that is a little iceberg you see in the water. (Pics or it didn't happen, right?!?)

Thank you. Pictures are so awesome. On our Alaska cruise it was so overcast we couldn't even see the shoreline.

We had a cove balcony out of Galveston and loved it. Being so close to the water was fantastic. We were up in the front of the ship, and loved watching the water breaking off the bow, spending on how fast we were going. I brought our hammock and DH spent many an evening chilling out there, even though it was a bit damp at times. I highly recommend experiencing it at least once.

How do you hook your hammock? Is it allowed? That sounds amazing.

I follow Lee Mason on Facebook and he said he was not on the vista or the miracle but did not say who it was.  He did say that Mike Packs will be on Mardi Gras.  He might have mentioned more but that is all I caught at the time.

Lee Mason was to be on the Radiance. Let's see if that still happens.

Eh, I'm a rather adventurous traveler, but a level 4 advisory (outside of the covid ones) is enough for me to not go somewhere. The tourist area may feel safe enough the last time you were there, but when crime is high enough that the state department to issue a do not travel advisory, I wouldn't go there. It specifically says

"Do not travel due to crime.

Crime and violence are widespread. Armed groups operate independently of the government in many areas of Guerrero. Members of these groups frequently maintain roadblocks and may use violence towards travelers.

Travel for U.S. government employees is limited to the following area with noted restrictions:

Taxco:  U.S. government employees must utilize Federal Toll Highway (cuota) 95D that passes through Cuernavaca, Morelos, and stay within downtown tourist areas. Employees may visit Grutas de Cacahuamilpa National Park during the day with a licensed tour operator.

U.S. government employees may not travel to other areas of the state of Guerrero, including Acapulco, Zihuatanejo, and Ixtapa."

If US government employees aren't allowed to go somewhere, I trust that enough to take that advise for myself.

I was not aware of this information. Thank you, I appreciate it.

It was announced 2 days ago Panorama will be sailing 8 day cruises to Mexico but the added port will be La Paz on the Sea of Cortez plus the usual ports of Cabo, Mazatlán and Puerto Vallarta. It's a start.

I am booked on that cruise. I have never been to La Paz! It is in 2024

It makes no sense to me that there is not an invoice floating around somewhere.  That would freak me out.  If you book directly through Carnival by calling and speaking to someone they immediately post the payments under your cruise manager and you have total control 24/7 over when to make a payment, and how.   You can then add gift cards online to lower your final payment.    I have nothing against TA's - we have used ours for over 30 years, but we use him just for booking foreign country trips.  For cruises we go right to our pvp, and we have more control over our booking.

I so agree. I usually use my PVP, but a friend told me this lady had saved her so much money, I decided to try. I have since apologized to PVP and told him never again. And to show him how sorry I was I booked a cruise for 2023 with him.

    This....find a new TA.

I don't understand why. Please enlighten me. Not that I disagree, but for other reasons. I have paid over $3000. with gift card towards my cruise through her, since I cannot do it online, and I still do not have an invoice showing those payments. She said Carnival doesn't have one.
