I have a large on board credit from my TA. I tried to book an excursion for our trip this fall and was told I could only book an excursions on board using that credit. Is this true and why? I like to have my excursions set before I l sail.
If I don't use all of the OBC, will celebrity refund this to me? TIA

We have 3 big trips coming up in the next year. Ready to purchase Annual Travel policy with Allianz in the next few days. Any pros or cons with an annual policy vs individual. Allianz . Was told more economical to purchase an annual vs individual trips. Pricing seems fair for annual policy with all the bells and whistles. We are in good health , no pre existing conditions. TIA

Anyone do or attend a wedding on board prior to sailing. Would love to hear pros and cons

We need airfare to Fairbanks in Late July 2018 and returning from Calgary. Any suggestions for booking a decent airfare. If we book the cheaper flights they only allow 1 hour in Seattle , Chicago Or Minneapolis going there. I doubt we can make those connection. The fares go up significantly if you book flights with longer layovers that aren't as risky. Thanks,

We had a two hour layover from JFK returning from Israel and didn't make our flight. It took an hour to get our luggage and go through customs. We had to wait an additional 8 hours for the next flight home to Orlando. The planes carry so many people and they all have a lot of baggage. Good luck!

We are looking for a tour in Amsterdam that Includes admission to the Anne Frank house. I haven't been able to locate one. I know you can purchase tickets on line direct 60 days in advance but would like a tour that includes that.

Have spent 90 days on board the Star Princess. One of my favorite Princess ships. Where are you going, how many days? Departing from San Pedro for Hawaii, Mexico or Coastal, or are you speaking about Alaska next summer?
Leaving for Hawaii next week for 15 days from San Pedro

Any tips for us on our first Princess cruise on the Star Princess? We are seasoned cruisers on RCCL, Disney , Carnival and Celebrity but this is our first Princess cruise. I don't think it will be our last Princess cruise.

Assume you mean you are sailing from the West Coast to Hawaii and back?
A little reading on the board would reveal that as you depart the West Coast it is usually cool (50s) and can be a bit rough. As you get closer to Hawaii it warms, and the seas calm, generally.
Going back to the West Coast is the process in reverse. Warmer and calmer leaving Hawaii, cooler, and possibly rougher as you approach the West Coast.
Yes leaving from Los Angles. I'm looking for info on what weather to expect during sea days to and from Hawaii. I can access weather on LA and Hawaii on weather sites but wanted to know more specifics of sea day weather so I can pack accordingly thanks Wendy

This is our first cruise to Hawaii. We need packing help. What type of weather should we expect on the sea days going and leaving Hawaii? What type of clothing is needed? Shorts? Light sweater? I know it's usually it's on the cool side on the ship's venues but what type of weather should we expect ? It looks like the weather in Hawaii is usually in the low 80s during the day and 70s at night . We are leaving next week. Thanks Wendy

Upsell fairy was very busy today. We are on Star Princess. 10/26/16 ,we were offered upsell balcony for $179 each from our OV room. In almost 50 cruises we've never had a balcony and decided to splurge. Our theory is that we usually take an inside or OV so we can take more cruises. We thought Hawaii would be a good cruise to splurge on a balcony .

Does anyone ever purchase theses transfers ? How much does it run ? fromSan Pedro to airport after cruise. Thanks. Wendy

additional question
Today it also has the same banner on our sailing, 20% discount of onboard prices with the price of $11.49, and I think you have to add tax and gratuities.
Sometimes I think RCCL goes fishing to see if the market will pay this price.
We were just on the Brilliance on a Baltic tour and they offer a Tour of the Crew Quarters for a fee. I was standing standing next to the Cruise Director and he was laughing about it with another crew member. This was the first time they heard of a Crew Tour. I think they like to "test the waters" to see what the public will do and what they are willing to pay for.
