  1. Just booked 2019 Mediterranean cruise. The price of Soda Package, is now $11.49, was $8.50.

Today it also has the same banner on our sailing, 20% discount of onboard prices with the price of $11.49, and I think you have to add tax and gratuities.

Sometimes I think RCCL goes fishing to see if the market will pay this price.

We were just on the Brilliance on a Baltic tour and they offer a Tour of the Crew Quarters for a fee. I was standing standing next to the Cruise Director and he was laughing about it with another crew member. This was the first time they heard of a Crew Tour. I think they like to "test the waters" to see what the public will do and what they are willing to pay for.

  2. Need help on Amsterdam tour. All Viatour city tours already booked for April. Anyone familiar with City Discovery Tours? Anyone used them? Thanks for any input. This is for a precruise tour

If you have any other tour operators for a one day in Amsterdam, please forward information. TIA

  3. We have 3 big trips coming up in the next year. Ready to purchase Annual Travel policy with Allianz in the next few days. Any pros or cons with an annual policy vs individual. Allianz . Was told more economical to purchase an annual vs individual trips. Pricing seems fair for annual policy with all the bells and whistles. We are in good health , no pre existing conditions. TIA

  4. Assume you mean you are sailing from the West Coast to Hawaii and back?

A little reading on the board would reveal that as you depart the West Coast it is usually cool (50s) and can be a bit rough. As you get closer to Hawaii it warms, and the seas calm, generally.

Going back to the West Coast is the process in reverse. Warmer and calmer leaving Hawaii, cooler, and possibly rougher as you approach the West Coast.

Yes leaving from Los Angles. I'm looking for info on what weather to expect during sea days to and from Hawaii. I can access weather on LA and Hawaii on weather sites but wanted to know more specifics of sea day weather so I can pack accordingly thanks Wendy

  5. This is our first cruise to Hawaii. We need packing help. What type of weather should we expect on the sea days going and leaving Hawaii? What type of clothing is needed? Shorts? Light sweater? I know it's usually it's on the cool side on the ship's venues but what type of weather should we expect ? It looks like the weather in Hawaii is usually in the low 80s during the day and 70s at night . We are leaving next week. Thanks Wendy

  6. Upsell fairy was very busy today. We are on Star Princess. 10/26/16 ,we were offered upsell balcony for $179 each from our OV room. In almost 50 cruises we've never had a balcony and decided to splurge. Our theory is that we usually take an inside or OV so we can take more cruises. We thought Hawaii would be a good cruise to splurge on a balcony .
