I'm trying to do a mock booking at the website and can't even without logging in? Am I at the correct site? It was much easier with the old site.
-
oops old news.
-
what is the history of naming it Amber Cove?
-
Will never step foot on Amber Cove or Dominican Republic for that matter again.
Oh well, more beach chairs for us. hehehehe I highly doubt it's going to be that bad. Carnival Crop probably has a big say on how things are going to work in that area.

Will one of the dining rooms be open for lunch?
On the 6 nighter
Sapphire open -12-1:30pm

I was on the Sky last week in Nassua and we were next to the Gem. Our ship already closed the doors, while Gem was still open for boarding. Then I hear 4 names being called from the intercom on the Gem and I knew that the fun was about to start. The 4 passengers were 30mins late and got the sarcastic claps and cheers from alot of people when they rolled in on a cart, I would have loved to see them running instead !!!

Sorry, but I need a translation!
Ooops. Verizonwireless has a points program. You get points for paying online, purchasing, visiting their website, etc... You can use those points to buy gift certs (which run out fast) at a discounted price. Sometimes, they also have Carnival GC. So I used up 1000pts and $90 to pay for a $100 gc. I'm not sure if there's a limit on how many gc you can buy.
-
Yup, picked up 5-$100gc for $450, 5000pts, and $2.95 shipping :)

Yes !!!!!. checked my edocs with 7 days to go and got cabin 0257 Deck 10 Aft:).

I booked the 4nighter (8/17-21) on Sky last week. At that time, PCC called me that a GTY OV was the lowest price available for the 3 of us. 9 days left and I still don't have a room assigned. I'm pretty sure there are a few 2-person rooms available but not for 3-4 person room. I guess I'll find out when I'm at the port.

Ugh... somebody let me know how to attach bigger files.

Thanks everyone. I have a 15yo and 19yo. I figured it wouldn't make sense to separate us since we are in one room. My wife feels a little relieved but we shall see. I told her I don't care what time I get in, as long I get in:D. We are actually a group of 100+ going but the celebrants only invited 50 of which are mostly adults. Most of the invited guests have kids that weren't invited.
-
Ooops, how do you move this to the wedding forum or does the CC do it?
-
So my friend has a wedding reception on the Breeze at 1pm but we were suppose to be at the port by 10, I guess to register and check in. All of their guests are cruising. They paid for the reception for 50 guests (adults) which I'm guessing is the list. My wife and I are on the list but my teen kids aren't (we are all in the same stateroom). Common sense tells me that all four of us should be able to register and board with the wedding party, they jsut can't go to the reception at 1. The 64k question. Do you think we will have problems boarding early with the kids? What's the process from getting to the port until the reception at 1pm.
-
me too !!!!!

There was no wait to tender, so I guess that's why it opened up to general. There were 3 ships total in port, 2 carnival & 1 RC.
Sweet !!! thanks for the heads up. I didn't think the FTTF option was the right one for us this time.
-
I'm on the Carnival, is it worth getting the FTTF just for the tendering. I'm part of a wedding group so we get to go in early during embarkation. I'm not in a rush to get off during debarkation. hehehehe
-
I thought it was only me. Ugh !!!!
-
Sweet !!!!!!:D:D:D:D:
Thank you
-
thanks everyone. We plan to do our own thing so I was kinda worried about docking there and waiting 1hr or so to get tendered off.
-
I checked the port schedule and there will be 3 ships on July 15. My ship is there from 8-4pm. Is Cayman a tender-only port? How bad (time) will it be tendering from the ships? Expected total amount of people from the 3 ships is over 11k.

I put my buckets of beer on top of them.

Ooops, I meant that I can see the rates but I'm trying to do a FL resident rate and like to choose the options on the main screen. The old site, you can put the code and you can see the price right away.
